  1. Pats on line 1
  2. sometimes i wonder if ESPN reporters watch sports at all, or just are given a story line and make up whatever they like
  3. I dont want to come across as a Brady defender, but given how utterly dominant he's been over the Bills for 2 decades, I'd say even his worst on field antics were pretty reserved. Not even in the same league as what Jim Kelly did in his glory years. Plus, we threw a ***** on the field with his name on it so i'm not sure we as Bills fans even got the worst of the exchange. edit: sorry i posted the forbidden word
  4. at what point in the last 20 years did the Bills not deserve to be laughed at against the Pats? Maybe this last year? Or maybe when we sent maybin into coverage? or had everyone except the punter try to cover Gronk? Or maybe when Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dumb cooked up all sorts of exotic coverage packages, each less effective than the last? The Bills efforts were laughable.
  5. That's my take too. Cox played hard and ran his mouth, but it seems like he recalled the whole rivalry fondly later. It gave us all something to be mad at besides eachother. Also God please let my wife and son go back to work/school soon please
  6. Agreed on the good old days. Now that was a rivalry, complete with good guys and bad guys, characters all around, and a lot of great games. Everyone is so anodyne now, it's taken some of the fun out of it. Even Brady, who owned the Bills for 20 years spent more time praising them than making fun of them
  7. Goodwin as a $7m one year rental. That's the stuff
  8. wow I just looked at that link you posted, that is absolutely crazy. I'm not sure any of those players are worth what they're getting there
  9. Lol, that's a feature not a bug in Boston.
  10. It would be easier to forget about Sports Illustrated instead. I'd pretty much already done that in fact in all seriousness, SI seems to have become a publication that doesn't like sports very much
  11. That's alright, I don't think the Raiders will be ready for the 2020 season either
  12. I've had a feeling that BB was going to go secondary in the 2nd round. If he can trade up for this guy, great. I'd rather get a premium talent and fewer overall picks than camp fodder
  13. I'm gonna brave BJ's in Schenectady after work today. I haven't left the house beyond walking in the neighborhood in 2+ weeks now. We're not out of anything critical yet but I really want to put a shoulder on the smoker, jonesing for some pulled pork.
  14. Agreed. If JA were to get injured and be out for a few games, there's no way that Borkley is going to carry them. If the price is right I'd love to see Dalton in a Bills uni
  15. People play Madden then think they can pull off nonsense trades IRL. Yeah, I got Patrick Mahomes for my 3rd string RB and JJ Watt just because I asked nice
  16. as discussed here, Beane's strategy seems to be more utility infielders, fewer designated hitters. Let's see how it plays out because so far i like that there's not too many positions where the backup is a big dropoff from starter
  17. i like how murphy came on at the end of the season but he has a huge head (i mean, like an actual enlarged head) and seems too narrow to be a DL player. It absolutely ruins my immersion on the other hand, didn't he say something about 'playing north of the wall' when he was signed? if true he should retire a bill
  18. The Diggs signing and Why That's Good for Hillary Clinton wait that might be vox. hard to tell them apart sometimes
  19. Let's hope they cough up $15m a year or something dumb for him
  20. Did you watch the pro bowl? Roberts looked good. He had a TD and was open most plays, far in excess of what we normally saw from him in his limited opportunities to play WR during the regular season. If you find this shocking, or controversial, perhaps it's time to find a new hobby
  21. Clearly he can read, he just insists on deriving the opposite conclusion from what the words clearly state. It's a very cursed condition known as being a contrarian rabbit. I have much experience dealing with people having this condition as I raised 2 children
  22. Sorry about your reading disability
  23. So I think that was the conventional wisdom but he looked like edelman at the pro bowl. Before anyone starts with their well rehearsed zingers about the pro bowl not being like a regular game, i think the larger point is that he can obviously get open and catch the ball. I think maybe I'd like to see a little more of him at WR? Wasn't he fighting injuries all year? But to your point it does seem that even when healthy he wasn't in much.
  24. I don't think he'd be able to help you there
