I'm a huge bama fan, wife and I met there at grad school, so I'll admit to being a homer here, but you are right in that he may need some time to ramp up. On the other hand, if you look how he's progressed this year, it's been nothing short of amazing. This Alabama team is lacking in talent on O, outside of Amari Cooper, relative to other recent teams, yet they're blowing up the record books. Part of it is coaching, but I think Sims might be the real deal. You can't teach accuracy and timing!

Blake Sims, Alabama Crimson Tide. In his first year of starting, he went from wobbly run first guy to seasoned pocket passer. He doesn't have the metrics of some of the others in the draft and I bet the Bills could pick him up in the 3rd. I think he has a lot of upside, and is still learning the position, but he's a winner and makes plays happen.

Like last year, they played soft on 3rd down. I'd whine about the refs, but when you get thumped as bad as the bills did today, it doesnt matter. Penalties kept a couple drives alive, but most of the time the Bills simply couldnt stop Brady. At least this should probably end our annual circlejerk that THIS IS THE YEAR WE TURN THE CORNER ON THE PATS. Until we can beat them, we don't deserve a sniff of the playoffs. The good news is, our 2nd round pick just got a little better. I wonder if they should just forfeit the next pats game and save everyone the trouble.

No, but imagine my surprise to see that the Buffalo Bills *lost* this game? I turned it off with 2 minutes left, confident in the budding superstar EJ Manual's ability to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat. What happened!

What I'm half expecting to see in Detroit is for EJ to do some boneheaded stuff early in the game and to have the rest of the team just quit. We've seen this movie before. If Sammy Watkins is already mentally checked out I think it's safe to say pretty much everyone else aren't far behind. You see it in the workplace all the time, management taking care of 1 person at the expense of everyone else, blame deflection, and so on. Football teams aren't immune from it any more than people at the factory.

Who is the home opener next year? That's my pick. Also, looking forward to the draft next year, I expect the FO to try to get EJ more playmakers in a last failed attempt to make him something more than a JV QB.

the worst part of this is, buffalo is playing BORING again. there is absolutely nothing interesting about them today. No spark on O, nobody even trying on D. It might be better to keep the D off the field to give our O the maximum number of chances to score. We're going to lose, I'd like to see a TD even if the final is 96-10

No whining about the refs. we're getting zero pressure, we're missing tackles, and just sucking hard all around. Even if the refs were on our side, we'd still be 2 scores back. Well at least the D gets to sit for 2 minutes while EJ hands off twice then throws behind a receiver.

I have a question for you guys, I had seen this earlier in the summer and being the guy I am, I waited to pull the trigger. So now, on the DTV page, you have to fill out a form for availability. If you're in a house that can receive DTV, you can't get the streamed version of the sunday ticket. Did any of you deal with that? Is there a back door or a magic word that will let me buy this still? Thanks,
