  1. Do you think Maybin can play OLB for us, or will he strictly be a DE?
  2. I'd love to see Buffalo get a high 2010 pick for him at the trading deadline this fall, but not now.
  3. Trying to get Buffalo to jump Jax to get an OT, if the report is true.
  4. None. Considering the amount of time 32 teams spend looking at these guys, I don't pretend to know on draft day that "this guy is better than that one". My explosions come when they actually hit on players but don't keep them.
  5. But, but we need a TE -> he's the best one available, therefore we need him. Stop asking all those questions! No TE on the first day until we make the playoffs.
  6. After we make the playoffs, we have to many other holes. Do you notice that the 20-25 range is a nice place to pick up a quality TE?
  7. I think the plan is to dismantle the plan we had and start another plan. I'm sure there's been a lot of meetings to plan the new plan, and I'm sure after we pull four starters out of this years draft the plan will be planned.
  8. At this point before the draft, I don't think anything can be believed. I'm with you regarding trading up for Oher, but since I haven't seen much logic I agree with this offseason, I'm cringing at this point.
  9. Well that's great. I've been in Pittsburgh almost 30 years and a fan close to 40. While I did enjoy the 92? playoff game where Reich came in and beat them, the victories have been few and far between. And I've had to put up with the rest of the winning that has gone here on while lately my team is lucky to stay in the game with a good team. Quite frankly, I'm tired of OBD not caring about winning.
  10. Not really, or are some "inside sources" clueing you in to what type of fan I am? It's funny, because here in Pittsburgh, I've been hearing the same thing about the Pirates for the last 12 years or so. Always waiting for that perfect alignment of young, super talented players that you don't have to pay a lot of money to. They haven't seen .500 for 16 years.
  11. Our clubhouse is going to be a wonderful place to be this year. A lame duck coach, TO, anyone on the trading block....top 5 pick in 2010 here we come.
  12. Funny and disheartening all at the same time. Nice
  13. There's a 90 year old skid mark on this team....
  14. Yes, yes you are so right! I can't believe that the Eagles would consider him valuable enough to trade for, and then to pay. In fact, I don't understand why we let Dockery go since he did such a fine job on that play! You'd of thought we would have just cut JP and kept Dock.
  15. Attitudes turn ALL the time when a player feels he is fairly compensated - look at Lance Briggs last year. The "I'm pissed" stuff is part of the dance, that's all. Seems to me that Ralph was done handing out big contracts this year and told Brandon to get what he could for JP.
  16. Maybe we can trade our 3rd and Philly's third back to them in order to jump to 21? How does that work on the ol' draft value chart?
  17. What huge need? We have Walker, he'll step right in! Chambers to RT McKinney at LG. I'm looking for a 4th round interior OL, that will be fine. Let's go get a WR and TE in the first so Trent will have plenty of weapons. Actually, I think Moreno and Pettigrew will be the best draft! That way we can trade Freddie too! And then in the second we can take a DB that has "great value"!
  18. I'm sure he went from special teams player to Pro bowl left tackle without even trying.
  19. I think it's pretty ironic/funny that the Bills actually have the receivers to fit JPL's "game". Wonder what he thinks of the TO signing.... And no, I'm not suggesting we resign JPL. While JPL would be more effective, we would need to run more than slants and deep routes to make the playoffs.
