  1. As far as I'm concerned the primary problem wasn't building around one player, but believing that Peyton would be back in time until a week before teh season. They basically forfeited teh first 6 weeks of the season by not having a QB who had any reps or time ot learn the playbook...They easily could have won a few more if they had just gone with Painter from the get-go
  2. Maybe they'll be broadcast by the same people broadcasting in albany this past year - No one
  3. One great pass rusher will make the rest of our pass-rushers much more effective. We should probably draft at least 3 OLBs in this year's draft.
  4. As long as Ralph Wilson doesn't buy the Jaguars, he'll probably do very well
  5. WHen you lead the league in INTs despite giving up very few sacks, its more than just "bad luck" and the receivers sharing the blame. He was terrible for most of the year.
  6. I agree, but adding more dynamite isn't going to fix anything
  7. This plan has never failed the bills before!
  8. Didn't say to cut him...only that the future is CJ, and its tiem to stop denigrating him as a "situational player." and as to blocking, that's something all young RBs struggle with, and somethign they almost all learn in time.
  9. Spiller and Fred both had 6 TDs this year, they also had near identical yards per carry. Spiller had only 60% of Fred's touches. Fred is 30, Spiller is 24, and the stats don't lie. It's time to give up on the irrational mancrush
  10. 7.5 million isn't the market for elite players, it's the market for good players, which Stevie is...
  11. Thats unfair, stevie hasn't called out anybody or thrown anyone under the bus. Say what you want, but he's not a lockerroom cancer
  12. Totally support the benching, but letting him walk puts the lie to "building through the draft"...if they're not building through the draft, and they're not building through free agency, well then they're all out of options, and they're spinning their wheels. Business as usual = wake me up when they make the playoffs.
  13. Blow what up? We're already a pile of rubble...
  14. They should show this game at Coach school to show why you run the ball when you have a 21 point lead
  15. No, the bills probably said "prove that you're a top 20 WR if you want top 20 WR $$$" and Stevie probably said "OK, I will."
  16. BOth of these players will be gone in the first 5 picks
  17. Aaron Rodgers went to Cal...can we all please stop acting like there's some blanket rule that where someone went to college says anything about their desire or ability to be successful in the NFL
  18. DirecTV also has Sabres in HD and NFL Network as part of the base package. I'll never go back to TimeWarner for TV (I might go back for internet b/c I don't get FIOS where I live and Verizon DSL isn't as fast as I'd like) I'm sure it does, I get them in Albany on DTV. What do you mean by On Demand? They have ppv movie channels, but not On Demand HBO (which doesn't matter as much since HBO's release of HBO GO, where you can get streaming access to every HBO show ever online)
  19. Say what you want about Pro Bowl not meaning much...fine, there's some truth to that, but Mr. Peters was an All-Pro last year, which means he *IS* considered to be one of the very best at his position. In my opinion, he was worth the money he was asking. And no, I don't fault any NFL player for holding out, ever. When players can be cut because they've underperformed a "contract", everyone should expect to get holdouts when they overperform their contract. If the contract was guaranteed then its a different issue in my book
  20. weird how running someone over with your car will just turn everyone right around on you... I guess that Aaron Rodgers was a huge luxury pick bust since they had Favre playing at a high level for the next 3 years...
  21. but but but he hasn't proven ANYTHING because i have a boner for Fred Jackson!
