    it's one thing to be applying pressure and not getting sacks...but we hardly even apply pressure. It's just another example of how the Bills are a few years away. I wouldn't be suprised to see schobel let go in the offseason if he can't improve his performance when he comes back from injury. Buffalo can't really afford to continue paying out on that $50 million contract if he's going to play like a stiff.

    WE can make sure the patriots get two losses, but we can only make sure denver gets one, so in that way I agree with you I'd still rather have a big lead in the division than worry about what Denver is doing though

    The stadium thing is a factor because there aren't many empty NFL-calibre stadiums sitting around, and nobody's going ot get the funding to build one. Furthermore, when billionaires buy teams, its usually financed by a big fat chunk of debt. Nobody but nobody is handing out credit in the hundreds of millions right now, so unless someone is willing to buy a franchise in a pure cash/stock deal, a purchase price is going to be much lower...which can probably only help the local prospects
