  1. Our defense couldn't stop ANYONE from running hte ball down our throats last year...our defense is not a strength
  2. I'm with ya...I'm not expecting or demanding any blockbuster moves...but a team with this many needs for STARTERS (2 OTs, one G, at least one DE, 2 LBs, a WR, QB, maybe another RB if Marshawn is one his way out), has *GOT* to fill some of the holes via free agency. If we're going to do it solely through the draft we're going to be another 5 years from contending for a playoff spot. Now its still early, and there's a number of guys out there who can help, but if we walk away empty, we've got problems
  3. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Appeal_to_authority HTFH
  4. New Defense we don't have the personell to play, potentially even worse OL (with retirements/injuries), TO's 6 TDs, while not huge, still made up over 1/4 of our offensive TDs...not to mention everyone on Offense learning a new system. If Schobel retires and maybin continues flopping, its very very easy to see how we'd get markedly worse
  5. psssst...we're going to be playing a new defense with players not well suited to it...we're probably going to be 6-10 no matter what
  6. I'd rather draft players than more project QBs....if we can't get a top guy at #9, we roll the dice with what we've got and start filling some of these holes. I'd rather let Brohm get a shot to beat out our current dregs than hand the keys over to another clown for 2 or 3 years.
  7. Jack Kemp = Born and went to college in California. Kindly stfu
  8. this post could also be titled: Players Al Davis will draft, regardless of their football talent
  9. My problem with Buddy is that he could drop dead or retire at any time..He's another stop-gap solution. we need someone with a long term vision to rebuild this team, not keep the parts duct taped together for another couple years
  10. The only issue I have is the injury one...Those injuries definitely start adding up. If he can't avoid them, he's going to wind up a cripple by 30
  11. The bottom line is, if Pike/Lefvour are worth a damn, the league is going to unearth it in the 3 months before the draft. they are going to poke and prod every one of these guys. Look at Joe Flacco. Where was he this time of year? Pike and Lefevour might have all the tools needed to be quality starting quarterbacks, but if they do, they probably won't be sticking around until the 4th or 5th round
  12. is that one of those zen questions? sound of one hand clappign?
  13. yeah, what are we thinking calling our starters STARTERS
  14. THe fact that Kyle Orton has an NFL job is one of the great mysteries of the NFL. I'd rather have fitzpatrick, and thats the truth
  15. He's got SO MUCH HEART and EMOTION. HE'LL BE A GREAT LEADER. At least when every draft pro has him out of the first round maybe the "i hurd a him so he must be good" clowns on here will give it a rest.
  16. INTERNET TOUGH GUY ALERT
  17. Why not cut him if he's our third best safety making as much money as he is?
  18. maybe when we sign one it'll be news...singing to an OC just isn't a big story, I guess it depends on teh song, really
  19. the important thing in those stats is 12 games vs. 16 games
  20. That growing feeling must be a !@#$ing brain tumor, because you're hallucinating. Tebow sucks ass. Mark it down. His combine numbers are going to be pedestrian, and his skill-based workouts are going to show what we all know, a non-NFL calibre arm
  21. Tebow sucks. If the bills draft him I will throw feces from the stands
  22. He's a million years old...he should have never come back to work as GM anyway
