No reason to overpay the mopes we have on the team. I'd rather work towards building a team than spend another 20 million just cuz. I think the low salary is more a result of our poor drafting and UFA signings the last decade resulting in no stars and frequent cuts, not a sign of stinginess.

It took 30 years, from the 60's to the 90's for the Bills to be serious contenders once...I figure it'll be even longer the second time around as the NFL has become far more of a polished business, and therefore more highly competitive, in the interim. Bills have been left behind. Despite the saying, it really is quite hard for a blind squirrel to find a nut.

I don't ccare about Maybin's size, to a certain extent I don't even care that he didn't have flashy numbers, he's young, the team sucks, there's time for all that. What i do care about is the number of times he got absolutely manhandled. Not only hasn't he made an impact, he doesn't look like he even belongs on the field.

Well if some lesser used player makes a big play, and I don't know his number, I'd ask myself, "hey, who made that play?" it would be nice to have an answer!

TO can still play, he had the most TDs on the team last year, and we all know that he had no help in the QB department. If he doesn't get signed its because of his attitude and sideshow atmosphere he brings, not because he's falling apart physically

Would you like us to list every late draft pick and marginal back up as well? Hardy was an early round pick, he was expected to make an impact, that he hasn't is worth noting. That a late round pick hasn't is not. Other players mentioned are either early picks or former/current starters.

Well if Maybin can't even get on the field in 2010 he's going to be on a REAL short leash come 2011, wouldn't surprise me if he's cut during camp in 2011. If Hardy can't get on the field in 2010 I think he WILL be cut in 2010 offseason. I think its even money as to whether John McCargo will even be on the roster for 2010. if Trent continues being Trent he definitely won't be back in 2011.

I honestly don't think the 2007 draft was so bad. Marshawn's a dufus, but his story's not over yet...could turn into a thunder/lightning flash/bang tandem with Spiller. And like it or not he's made a pro-bowl. If the bills hit on starters in the first three rounds of every draft we would be a legitimate team, instead of a bunch of mopes, which, let's face it, is what we got. Not a home run, but not terrible, I think a B is fair
