that's a crock of ****...the knock on flutie was his size, not his speed and ability to make a strong throw, which are what Tebow lacks.
Tebow is a great college athlete, but like many running college QBs, he's not going to cut it in the NFL.
Yeah, just look at those small market backwater burbs like Green Bay and Indianapolis...they never win or attract any talent, they're practically UFL teams...everybody knows if you want to be successful in this league you've got to go to the glamorous big city powerhouses like Detroit and Washington, DC
there's really no such thing as LA proper...that location would be fine...Nobody complains that the Ducks or Angels play too far away for people
Its straight sprawl until you get past Ontario anyway...
i don't know anything, it's what the plan SHOULD be, because putting a rookie QB with 2 or 3 weeks of practice in midseason is absurd... any tape of him with such little preparation with such a mess of an o-line would show nothing.
How frequently do you think a QB without a single NFL snap to his name has changed teams at midseason and then started a game? I'm guessing the number is close to zero, because you can't put someone in that position and expect them to succeed.
absolutely not.
fitz plays out the season, brohm is for next year...of course, most of the clowns running the ship probably realize there is no next year for them, so it wouldn't surprise me if he shows up
It's not impossible to be a great QB with a terrible line, but it is impossible to *LEARN* to be a great QB behind a terrible line.
Young guys with bad lines is a game over scenario...
I don't think that's a given...our O-line is bottom 5 in a walk, may be the worst in the league.
You could have Johnny U himself back there and it wouldn't matter
For the long term, weis has probably done a tremendous service for Notre Dame. He's shown that you can still recruit at an elite level, which was the reason Urban Meyer turned down teh position...But as far as on-field work, he definitely leaves something to be desire
They can never find out that Jauron was fired because our best guys were all on steroids, or the refs blew a big call, or the other team was out drinking the night before.
This was our championship, it will never be ruined, and it will last forever
