  1. Walgreens has had a clinic in many locations for years. About 3 years ago I suspected strep throat. Went to the local Walgreen's on a Saturday morning. They said the were backed up a couple of hours. Took my cell phone number and called me when they were within 10 minutes of being able to see me. I drove over. Nurse practitioner swabbed my throat. A couple minutes later told me, yes, you have a strep infection. 10 minutes after that I left the store with antibiotic in hand. Wonderful experience. Now we shouldn't be forced to have insurance to cover piddly crap like this. Let me buy catastrophic and pick and choose what bells and whistles I might want in my coverage.
  2. That is some funny **** right there.
  3. ...and you probably don't believe that people should be chained to an employer to get food, clothing, shelter, education or a cell phone. We're near the point in the U.S. (or maybe we are there) where people can simply choose to work or not and if they choose not, those that do choose to work will fund their needs. That reality is totally un-American and counter to the principles of most Americans. Oh, and it's a myth that people couldn't buy health insurance at a fair price without going through an employer before the ACA was passed. I've done it. Heroin is good too because it lowers blood pressure. We'll ignore all of the bad effects it has.
  4. You continue to take another step up the ladder of stupidity with every post.
  5. Illinois probably escaped the list due to a (relatively low compared to some others) 5% flat income tax. Illinois does, however, have the "you didn't build that" tax. Business owners have the privilege of paying an extra 1.5% income tax compared to "the working man".
  6. Maybe this is where all this started. Napolitano's Homeland Security report about the dangers of "right-wing extremism". “Rightwing extremism,” the report said in a footnote on Page 2, goes beyond religious and racial hate groups and extends to “those that are mainly antigovernment, rejecting federal authority in favor of state or local authority, or rejecting government authority entirely.” “It may include groups and individuals that are dedicated to a single issue, such as opposition to abortion or immigration,” said the report, which also listed gun owners and veterans of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars as potential risks. “As the department responsible for protecting the homeland, DHS will continue to work with its state and local partners to prevent and protect against the potential threat to the United States associated with any rise in violent extremist activity,” Ms. Napolitano said Read more: http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2009/apr/16/napolitano-stands-rightwing-extremism/#ixzz2sJwLFnpa Every agency of this administration is focused on political conquest. 7. Yawn = past someone's nap time.
  8. How silly of O'Reilly to ask questions that the President has not interest or intent to answer succinctly.
  9. Familiar with this law. They basically want to make sure that some creditors weren't given preference over others just before the **** hit the fan. In essence, the bankruptcy starts before it's actually filed when it comes to creditors.
  10. Not pursuing accountability for the IRS actions is good for the country. The Tea Party threatens to derail the pursuit of the redistributive agenda and long-lasting power for Democrats. For the good of the country, it's necessary to eliminate roadblocks such as election outcomes, the Supreme Court, inaction by congress or resistance to any Federal Agency activities aimed at the goal. Nothing trumps the agenda. Not fiscal responsibility, not the constitution or honesty. Time is short, the mission must go forward and the dirty work must be carried out by many. We, the Obama administration know what needs to be done, what's best and how it needs to be done. Those that complain, challenge or resist simply need to be sidestepped in the interest of fairness and equality. Those that are in the way simply seek to maintain their control over those who have not received their fair place in society.
  11. Watching him run away from defenders after the catch. He had more game speed than he ever got credit for IMO.
  12. Depends on how you define "winner" or "winning". If you apply the Charlie Sheen standard, then no the Tea Party isn't winning. It's easy for people to criticize what they don't understand.
  13. Once again, our country craves a leader with integrity guided by solid American Principles. Romney continues to grow on me.
  14. What truly amazes me is how the President of the United States who has the largest toolbox on earth can only find and use the tax tool and the spend tool. Like a chief Formula One mechanic reaching to the bottom drawer of his toolbox and grabbing vice grips and the sledge hammer in order to adjust the cam timing and expecting he'll get the job done.
  15. Good grief what a yawner the SOTU was tonight.
  16. "We are now at a point where the top one percent pay more in federal income taxes than the bottom 90 percent," said Tax Foundation economist Kyle Pomerleau. That means roughly 1.36 million taxpayers pay a larger share of the federal income tax than the bottom 90 percent -- or 122 million taxpayers, according to data compiled by the nonpartisan Tax Foundation.
  17. Not many are hopping a fence. Most just walk in and barely have to lift a leg at the border. This is why all should be deported. The ones that walk in are lazy and the ones that climb the fence just aren't very bright.
  18. http://espn.go.com/nfl/playoffs/2013/story/_/id/10360723/pete-carroll-seattle-seahawks-coach-says-nfl-consider-medicinal-marijuana-treat-injured-players After watching the video, I don't think I'd want to play poker against Pete.
  19. Paris Hilton was getting banged by Brian Urlacher a few years ago. Why don't you try that and report back as to how hard a piece of work that is? George Bush (both of them) as far as I can tell earned all of their income and paid their fair share of taxes.
  20. You're not only late, you're not even in the correct location. Please go back and read what you wrote here and then explain it to the rest of us.
  21. But why would he? How will Americans benefit from giving amnesty to that many people?
  22. Room and funding in Obamacare for them? Room and funding in the food stamp program? Room in our economy to employ them after we first give jobs to actual Americans? Room and funding for them and their offspring in our schools? Room and funding in our prisons and courts for those that commit crimes? ..and yes, I'm excluding those that would enter the country properly, with the right skills and character that become citizens through the proper means.
  23. So we have another "open border" supporter as the DHS chief. Rather than telling us honestly what and who come across that border, he's another political tool for Obama's fundamental transformation of America. Voter registration trumps American interests.
