  1. Yes, and the dirty deeds were done while people were watching.
  2. I get it. The guy is a tea party republican. The guy is bad and he probably owns a gun. All tea party republicans own guns and are bad.
  3. There was nothing wrong with the answer. Obama simply misunderstood the question. He thought Wallace asked: What would you want people to believe was your single greatest accomplishment as President?
  4. It is not propaganda to post that the ACA has not saved families $2500, that the state exchanges haven't mostly failed, that coverage choices are actually fewer than before it was enacted or that jobs and/or working hours have been reduced as a result of the legislation. All are true.
  5. The rich of course. Most in the example can't even afford beer. How the hell are they going to pay for health insurance or medical care? It would not be fair to ask them to pay for that.
  6. It's pretty clear looking at Trump's campaign that he didn't have a full understanding of how the process of winning a nomination works, the nuts and bolts of it. That should not come as a surprise to anyone though.
  7. I would draft a team to go up against the juggernaut Hillary. Carly, and Newt to debate her 2 on 1. Christie to do the town halls. Paul Ryan to speak on domestic policy. Condi Rice on foreign policy. Allen West on national security. Rubio to do the acceptance speech. Fred Smith (Fedex CEO) to go to the White House as President.
  8. There won't be any further negotiations. Obama will simply run out the clock on this for the balance of his term and remind us of his previous victory with Iran and retire to a comfy existence. What a legacy he will have. Debt, Iran, ISIS, immigration, Obamacrap, his incompetent administration and using every agency in the federal government to promote his perverted agenda. Many good books will be written by others. Should provide years of tears and entertainment.
  9. This all boils down to plumbing. If you have male plumbing, use the men's bathroom. If you have female plumbing, use the ladies room. Seriously, what could be fairer to all than that? ....and by the way, when you're in a public restroom - behave.
  10. Without a crystal ball, nobody's speculation of the future for any of candidate is worthwhile. Could anyone 4 years ago have predicted with any credibility that Trump, Cruz and Kasich would be the finalists in the Republican Primary? Same for a guy named Bernie Sanders giving Hillary and increasingly tough run? There is not a less exact science IMO than political predictions. Rubio lost me when he pushed that garbage immigration bill after it was exposed as garbage, but he has some very good qualities and he can recover politically and it's anyone's guess what can and will play out in 4 years.
  11. I don't think it's wrong at all. Nobody at his age should be in public office let alone asking for another 4-8 years. Term limits and age limits too. Seriously, don't these old fart politicians have something better to do in their final years than hold public office at the federal level? Of course voters can impose term and age limits on politicians but rarely do. Voters are idiots.
  12. Huma's judge of character seems a bit flawed when you consider she's hitched her wagon to Hillary and Weiner. If it were me I'd be hiding rather than talking to the press.
  13. What actual skills does Hillary have?
  14. Which will give her the sympathy vote too.
  15. Which of the candidates in both parties do you feel are not garbage?
  16. Yes and it's not about lower costs. It's about the left providing another entitlement to millions and millions of voters to be paid or mostly paid by someone else while making it nearly impossible for the opposing party to get elected on an alternative platform.
  17. People ought to have their end of life options determined in advance. Makes things easier and less complicated.
  18. Rubio should have a bright political career ahead of him. He's got the tools and his head and heart are mostly in the right place IMO. Surprised he's not running for re-election to the senate but maybe Florida rules don't allow that? His resume is a little light yet IMO. He needs to age a bit and get some more experience in something meaningful. He's so damn young looking (which will serve him well later) but some that I know feel that he sounded inexperienced at times and his looks unfortunately backed that up rightly or wrongly.
  19. The VA lays out a pretty strong argument against it.
  20. I admire your self awareness and willingness to feel and acknowledge shame.
  21. At the time the ACA was being debated in the house, Republicans put forth a plan (it was merely about 400 pages). The media, however, continued to report that Republicans were obstructing and wanted people dying without coverage so their plan was virtually unknown. That and nobody read it because even at 400 pages is too !@#$ing long. http://www.forbes.com/sites/theapothecary/2013/08/28/seriously-the-republicans-have-no-health-plan/#39087f6822fc
  22. Reading the comments below the article, someone posted this: "You're an idiot". Apparently that's a universal opinion and not one that is owned by a poster here.
  23. Yes, but superdelegates are worth 100K voters so she doesn't need a big crowd.
  24. Accept it willingly. They understand that government has the last word and that government knows best.
