Could someone more knowledgeable than me speak to how DiMarco performed last season? I don't particularly watch/notice a FB's play.

I'm obviously being hyperbolic here as no one, not even Brandon Beane, can be sure the Bills are taking a certain player in the draft at this point. Just more of a 'who do you have a hunch about.' Have we been linked to them in any capacity?

I've seen him mocked to us a few times. Any particular reason? Scheme fit? Coach connection? Oh wow, I missed that altogether. Nice catch.

I'm hoping we draft him. Where do you think we'd have to take him? I don't know too much about him. Would he project as MLB in our scheme? What round do you think he goes in?

I don't really care if anyone trusts / believes me or not... I'm friends with someone who's very close with Zay. (Knew him from ECU, was at his draft party when the Bills took him, was at the Poyer wedding, etc.) Will try to find out from [this person] what the story is and report back.

FA hasn't even opened yet and we're still 6 weeks out from the draft. I should think we may find more athletic LBs at some point.

All in on McDermott. I'd say this can't get any worse than what we've had the last 17 years, but who knows!

Thanks for sharing, OP. I found this to be informative and useful. With the amount of sizeable holes on the roster (WR/S/OT/LB/CB/QB?) you have to wonder if (hope) they're going to utilize that untapped space. There is a lot of work to be done if we want to be competitive with playoff teams, let alone New England.

Guys, we're 17 hours into free agency. We knew Gilmore wasn't coming back, so that should come at no surprise to anyone. With serviceable DBs on the market and a stacked DB draft class, we have a lot of time to fix it the defensive backfield issues.

I highly doubt that we would only trade a late 3rd and 4th for a star RB. If we were able to trade those two picks for Portis, I'd do it in a heartbeat
