I hate to say it … but the Pats are coming
HereComesTheReignAgain replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall
Stats that don’t fit your narrative are dumb? I guess I’m just not as smart as the guy claiming the number of rushing attempts is the best way to rank RBs regardless of how many yards they get per rush. -

How dare I use such an obscure stat such as yards per carry! Are you really trying to claim that YPC isn’t a “real stat”? *Stevenson is averaging 4.6 ypc vs Singletary’s 5.0, so he is not as far behind as Harris. -

Harris has the 32nd best yards per carry (Singletary is 12th) this season. Perhaps he should try to avoid tacklers instead of dragging them? -

I’m guessing this is just a sad, stale attempt at trolling, but I’ll take the bait. Harris is averaging almost a yard less per carry than Singletary. Bourne has never had more than 50 receptions or 670 yards in a season. Knox will turn out to be a MUCH better TE than Henry and Smith. The talent gap between Knox and the NE TEs is huge. -
OT: Are you concerned about Mac Jones?
HereComesTheReignAgain replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall
207 yards, 1 TD, 1 Int. Is this the stat line of a guy that should instill fear? You would think so if you listen to the national sports media this morning. Sure, he is doing a very good job of managing games and throwing accurate, short passes. When teams catch on and are very confident that they have nothing to fear beyond 10 yards, he will be exposed for the limited athlete that he is. Enjoy it while it lasts Pats* fans. -

Mac Jones was a finished product when he entered the NFL. Many years of the best coaching, training, teammates, and facilities. Josh Allen was a completely raw prospect with a ton of room to grow. comparing their first season and implying that Mac Jones’ trajectory could follow Josh Allen’s is ridiculous. -

Todd Gurley was not the most valuable player in 2017. He may have been the best at his position by a wide margin, but he was still a RB. Do you think there is anyone that would take Todd Gurley over Tom Brady in 2017 if they were creating a team? A RB would need to be the greatest of all time to win MVP over a QB.
-
There is simply no argument to be made that any RB is more valuable to their team than a top 5 QB. Every single GM would jump at the chance to trade a Jonathan Taylor level RB for a top QB. Hell, they would probably throw in a few first round picks.

MetLife stadium and questions about gameday
HereComesTheReignAgain replied to Mynamemike's topic in The Stadium Wall
Train is definitely the way to go. I live in Lyndhurst and have a view of the stadium from my balcony. 10 miles to NYC has taken me anywhere from 20 minutes to over 2 hours by car. -

Unless there is any traffic (there is almost always traffic). Then it could be a 2 hour bus trip. -

MetLife stadium and questions about gameday

I've run into a handful of idiot Jets fans over the last few years at Metlife. That reminds me, this little runt should be posted in the gameday thread! This was from a few years ago. He got drunk and mouthy as the game went on. Even the other Jets fans were not backing him up by the end. I am very surprised he made it out of our section without getting punched. Our section had a lot of Bills fans in it. -
I'm guessing that someone's ratings are lagging and they are looking for an angry Bills fan boost. The most reliable way to garner interest and reaction in the sports world is to piss off the mafia... Thank you for not providing a link to this joker's podcast or website.

It is a great time. Bills fans take over the entire lot. Pinto Ron and his crew are usually set up in that lot too. -

If you are looking for a place close by (not walking distance but within a couple miles) for breakfast, there is a great diner in Lyndhurst called the Colonial Diner. Get the Taylor ham in some form. North Jersey Bills Backers and NYC Bills Backers will be in lot 26 bright and early with music, food, and drinks! If you are in the area the day before or sticking around for dinner after the game, the best restaurant I have ever experienced is in Newark NJ (seriously). It is the Spanish Tavern. Not cheap, but an outstanding atmosphere and food. -
Where will Odell end up?

You left off the Rams dead cap hit...They have a cap hit of $24.7 MM for Goff, $8.4 MM for Gurley, $3.5 MM for DeSean Jackson, $3.3 MM for Leonard Floyd, and $2.7 MM for Michael Brockers. -
The big tailgate with all of the local Bills Backers groups is in lot 26. Stop by if you can, it is really cool to see a complete parking section taken over by Bills fans.

I did read what you wrote. You stated exactly "In 2021 we have become a single phase game out of necessity, easy to game plan against." I do not think anyone in the league considers the Bills easy to game plan against. But I will agree to disagree and hope that the Bills offense puts up 45 on Sunday so we can all breath a little easier for at least a week.

You stated that the offense had become "easy to game plan against". They have been held below 25 points once in the last 7 games. Could the offense be clicking better? Absolutely. Are they "easy to game plan against"? I doubt it.
