  1. I think overused terms are very underrated.
  2. religion
  3. 1st term campaign bumper sticker: "yes we can" 2nd term campaign bumper sticker: "we just didn't get enough time, but it's not our fault, really it isn't. C'mon let's keep blaming Bush, it's so much easier than taking any blame" Not quite as catchy and I don't think it will fit on a tiny hybrid car.
  4. Heading to the Downer this Saturday! A few of my friends and I are single again and we are doing a "bachelor party" the right way...celebrating becoming a bachelor again!
  5. I get my dogs in the house as soon as I hear them barking. They now know that barking = end of outside play time. They still go a little nuts if they see a squirell or deer behind our fence though. Luckily all my neighbors with dogs seem to be very good about keeping the barking to a minimum.
  6. Not quite what I was looking for but it's the best I can find right now... http://abcnews.go.com/US/Story?id=662272&page=1 I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that certain states allowed feral cat hunting. Of course it would only be allowed in areas that allowed you to fire a gun and hunt. You couldn't sit on your porch in a city and pick off cats. (unfortunately) I'm not sure what you mean as far as being charged for discharging a firearm. Are you talking about anywhere, or just within a city? I have many friends that own houses on land that you can fire a gun on. As long as you are far enough away from other houses and roads, you are free to blast away!
  7. Congrats on raising some good kids! All we seem to hear in Rochester is how 14 year olds are shooting people and getting arrested. Maybe there is hope for the future!
  8. In many states you can hunt feral cats. They are a big problem in some areas. Cat's kill anything they find and can really screw up pheasant, turkey, and other game bird populations.
  9. I would make sure I didn't have a dog that could be swallowed whole by a coyote! I have no problem with a landowner killing a coyote if it is preying on his animals. I normally would never shoot an animal that I wasn't going to eat, but many landowners are having a problem with coyotes killing off game and domestic animals. Coyotes are very good at adapting and are flourishing in populated areas. I think this problem will get much worse in the next several years. I can hear them calling at night from my back yard. My dogs go nuts!
  10. Must be very "full and rich life" based on the time you wasted ridiculing the Bills for correctly calling this season the 50th anniversary and picking out a misspelled word in my post.
  11. Wow that is so embarassing! Get a life.
  12. He's allowed to have an opinion and we are free to think he is an A hole because of that opinion. Do you abstain from judging people just because they are "allowed" to think a certain way?
  13. I have heard many people call rural, educationally challenged folks woodchucks. I wonder why that does not evoke the same response?
  14. Didn't Pelosi and her gang write the stimulus bill?
  15. Perhaps he lived in a city that did not allow him his 2nd amendment rights? If NY made gun ownership illegal, I would own many illegal firearms. I would rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6!
  16. The subway driver's family should sue the moron for the fatal stroke suffered due to the accident. How great would it be to see him lose all the money and everything else he owns.
  17. I'm sitting this one gun argument out. It is interesting to relax and watch the action from the sideline sometimes!
  18. That's dumber than letting Oprah guard your twinkies!
  19. Obama has been named "Gun Salesman of the Year".
  20. I don't think they could ever pull off this bill since many hunters use .223 and .308 and they are considered sporting rounds as well as "assault weapon" rounds. If it did pass, there is no way I would buy an AR15 since ammo would be really expensive. Although you can now get an AR in many different calibers.
  21. I bought a few cases (1000 rounds) of .223 when Gander Mountain had them on sale for $125. The prices have tripled since then! Looks like I have a new source of retirement income. .223 rounds will be very valuable. On the other hand, I'll have to cut down on trips to the range with the AR!
  22. Says the guy with the avatar making fun of Republicans.
  23. Problem solved.
  24. Even better, I'll change mine to a picture of Steely Dan!
