  1. Is there any chance Neil could be electrocuted while driving this car...Aim form the big puddles!
  2. Maybe instead of "Mothers Against Guns", she should have started "Mothers Against Murder". Why would a criminal target an anti-gun advocate? She dedicated her life to making criminals' lives much easier and they probably hold anti-gun advocates in very high regard.
  3. Married With Children might be my favorite show of all time. So many great lines. Married with Children: Rites of Passage (#6.16)" (1992) Al Bundy: Where the music stinks and they water the drinks. The nudie bar. Where the girlies dance in their underpants. The nudie bar. Where you see their butt and their trap stays shut. The nudie bar. Where you can grab a thigh and blacken an eye. At the nudie bar. Where the beer gives you gas and the Bundys kick ass. At the nudie bar. Bud Bundy: What are we going to tell Mom where we were all night? Al Bundy: Well, son, you're a man now. When your mother asks you where you were, you do what your supposed to do. You look her right in the eye and tell her were were stuck in traffic.
  4. Would you believe that you have to buy row 9 beers? There is a good amount of high fiving and cheering in the section so you'll fit in well. See you at the games, I'll be the guy in the Poz authentic with the Pabst hat.
  5. We have been in Section 334 row 9 for 4 years now and love the seats. Haven't even tried to upgrade since we moved there. We have had seasons in section 139 (corner of the end zone lower level) and section 329 (side of the end zone upper level), and section 334 is by far the best view and neighbors. I'm too old to puke on myself and fight, so the atmosphere is perfect, with mostly long time season ticket holders who actually want to watch the game and cheer. If you like to stand all game, you may run into some resistance (another reason I like the section). Welcome, and remember that newbies have to buy the section a round at the first game!
  6. I just had a repair guy come out to my house for the dreaded "green blob" issue with my Sony SXRD. It was fully covered and the guy did a great job. He showed up when he said he would and was very professional. I didn't have the option of a refurb, but see no reason to deal with shipping the TV if Sony will send someone to fix it for free.
  7. Ban di-hydrogen oxide! The Penn and Teller Bullsh!t show had people collecting signatures to ban "di-hydrogen oxide" (h2o). It was great watching all the idiots signing the petition.
  8. Shlitz Gay (from the Saturday Night Live skit) PPP Longnecks
  9. "Off Constantly" That way when somebody defeats them they will say "I beat Off Constantly".
  10. I actually like High Life and Pabst. Unless I'm at a bar that sells Bass, Old Speckled Hen, or Newcastle, I'll stick to the champagne of beers. Does Yuengling count as an economy beer? That's usually what I have on tap at home.
  11. I can't wait to fly an " * " flag at the Pats* game. I wonder if they sell them on NFL.com?
  12. That is some useful information! thanks for sharing it.
  13. Apparently I will need your credit card # and your mother's maiden name too...You know just for verification purposes when I call the ticket office. So all those 100,000 people who signed up for Toronto tix aren't really interested in buying them? But all the news articles used that as a barometer for interest in the game.
  14. Did the waitress she used in one of her speeches ever get a tip from the Hillary lunch crowd? I remember hearing a story about them stiffing the same woman they used as an example of the middle class that Hillary understands so well.
  15. Many people face risks every day. Delivering pizzas in a bad nieghborhood can get you robbed and shot. The difference is, the pizza guy can't afford armed guards or force the taxpayers to pay for it. I understand why politicians have Secret Service protection, I just think it is much easier to be anti-gun when you have armed protection for the rest of your life (in Hillary's case at least). Police forces aren't there to protect you in an emergency, they respond after the event has taken place.
  16. What am I missing then? It seems pretty obvious to me, according to the author whites are "responding quite well" if they vote for Obama and the others need to "get their head around the concept of an African-American seeking the presidency" According to the author it is OK to use race as a deciding factor if you are black, but not if you are white. The explanation has to do with the fact that blacks have voted for white candidates in the past and this is the first time whites have the opporunity to vote for a black candidate?
  17. What makes you think he knew the cops were called? He may have left because he didn't want to stay and let the argument escalate further. I know I have walked away from arguments in order to avoid doing something stupid.
  18. http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/05/14/navarrette/index.html "Meanwhile, some white Americans are turning themselves inside out to come up with excuses for why they're not supporting Obama. It seems like just yesterday that these folks were arguing there is no racism in the immigration debate, and now they're insisting there is no racism in the presidential election. Some want to know why it isn't racist when 70 percent of African-Americans vote for Obama but it is when 70 percent of whites vote against him. The answer has to do with history. Over the decades, black Americans have had plenty of opportunities to vote for white people for president. And they have done so. But this is the first time that white Americans have a chance to vote for an African-American with a shot at the presidency. And what are they doing? Many are responding quite well. Obama won the votes of many, to borrow a phrase, "hardworking white Americans," in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska and Wyoming. But, elsewhere, as Obama said in a recent interview, people may need to get their head around the concept of an African-American even seeking the presidency, let alone winning it. That's understandable. There are places in this country where white Americans are still raised to think of black Americans as inferior. And then comes someone like Obama who has performed off the charts -- from Harvard Law School to the U.S. Senate and now, possibly, on to the White House. It's going to take some time to get used to all that, especially for people who never thought they thought they'd see the day that an African-American would be elected president. But understand this: They had better hurry up. That day may soon be here." All this time I thought I was choosing not to vote for Obama because I don't like his political views. Turns out I'm a racist because this is my first chance to vote for a black President and I'm not doing it. The writer has a regular column on CNN.com.
  19. It's not that the politicians I cited don't agree with "unlimited gun ownership", they have fought to eliminate the right to carry a concealed firearm. A good leader does not ask their people to do things that they are not willing to do themselves. If the right to carry a firearm is unnecesary, prove it by refusing armed protection for yourself first.
  20. Actually they need guards because criminals have guns. That is the same reason I need one. That was the point, I thought you could have picked up on that. Guess not.
