  1. That's a team I certainly wouldn't want to trade places with. I bet he is secretly still on the Pats payroll and Belichick sent him there to Sabotage the Broncos, b/c I don't think he could have done a worse job of coaching and managing that team.
  2. He does not play smart, lacks awareness, and comes up small in all the big spots. He celebrates like he just won the game with an unimportant pick in a blowout, and just overall seems like he doesn't get it. You can teach technique, you can't teach intelligence.
  3. I'm probably as guilty as anyone when it comes to being negative about the viability of the NFL in Buffalo. How Buffalo is always an afterthought, the media hates us, the glitz and glamour is too big time for a blue collar town. The past couple weeks have shown though, all you gotta do is win, or be something to talk about. The doldrums of the last decade has been horrendous in two regards. #1 is the losing, and #2 is the udder mediocrity and boringness in which that losing has taken place. With all the attention these "never say die" Bills, Stevie Johnson, and Kyle Williams are getting, it's proof that the Media and the NFL don't hate Buffalo, the Bills have just been boring as hell and not worth talking about. This has been the best season of playoff-less football I can remember, and that light at the end of the tunnel might just be coming!
  4. Heard someone call it the Fitzpatrick day parade
  5. I'm still perplexed that Shawn Nelson is not involved more, or that he hasn't shown enough to be involved more.
  6. I didn't really watch Urbik closely, but I didn't really notice anyone blowing up the middle, so that must be a positive sign...
  7. Tough Crowd
  8. Police reported an individual attempted to "egg" Brad Childress' house. An empty egg carton was recovered at the scene. 2 eggs hit Mr.Childress' house, 4 eggs went over his house and hit his neighbor's back door, 3 eggs hit the houses of his neighbors, and the remaining 3 eggs were found broken on the ground. Looking at the pattern of what was hit, police officials say they are considering Brett Favre as the primary suspect. eh it's a holiday week here at work!
  9. That is one of the most subtle in your face, and clever messages I have ever seen.
  10. That call was brutal! The Whistles didn't blow until after the clock hit 0... if forward progress ends the play, and not the whistle, then I guess Nelson's fumble vs the Ravens should have been overturned too....
  11. Lol...... "I don't think this internet thing is going to work out" - Oldtimer1960 circa 1997
  12. Everyone talks about how deplorable the stadium behavior is these days, I would bet that if the team starts winning again, that might change. A frustrated fan base drinking just cuz that's the only thing worth while at the Stadium vs. an excited fan base drinking to celebrate the team...
  13. I doubt the flood gates would open..... i would love to see that too.... but the old days are gone, people are different, society is different..... Odds are a lot of people would get to witness a very few people getting tasered
  14. I guess all the new hardware means that everyone will be able to post before thinking even faster!
  15. Per NFL.com
  16. I actually think KC is pretty decent. Their Defense looks pretty solid, and they have great playmakers on offense. I'm no fan of Cassel, but I think they have a pretty good team.
  17. Kelsay got Eddie Robinson'ed by Matt Cassel today
  18. Hey guys.. So I bought my dad some cigars from this place a little while ago, and one of their emails I got was promoting their football picks pool. I don't smoke cigars, but I figured if I win, i'll just give them to the old man again.... Anyway, figured I would post it for those interested... http://www.stogieboys.com/NFLPICKS/NFLsignup.html
  19. I noticed that too.... it hit over halfway up the net... from 50!
  20. He usually relies on the whistle to get off his blocks...... or actually have his blocks get off him
  21. I too was impressed with Howard.... can't say I saw much of his plays, but I can't say I saw much of the pass rush on the right side... so that has to be a glowing review. I wonder how much of Wood's "struggles" at times this year were due to Greens inability to play football
  22. Who knows..... the guy is smart as hell and he is entering that magic time frame where the "light goes on" for a lot of QB's... maybe he is a player..
  23. Way to nitpick and ignore the spirit of the post...
  24. +1 on that one. If Whitner turned into Ed Reed (when healthy) then no one would ever have a problem with him. He just runs his mouth, and backs it up by being mediocre. Make a difference and all is forgiven.
  25. know weigh our the bills going too make a move inn the division
