  1. It doesn't look like he learned from the Jacksonville game a while back..... Nate going for the house coughs it up again when he could have iced the game. I know it made me chuckle a vindictive laugh when it happened....
  2. I just hope Ralphs hands are too arthritic to pull the puppet strings anymore. I never bought into the Ralph is the problem theory, but i'm not so sure anymore. The Kelsay signing doesn't seem like something the Nix-Gailey Regime would do, especially not 3 games into a season.
  3. I said to my brother in law.. how many times in the last few years has either of us said "i'm glad we weren't there today".... that's not good
  4. Kelsay is officially 0-74 in open field tackles the last few seasons.... that stat is completely made up, but it has to be close to the truth
  5. if over-pursuing a play were a stat, Kelsay would be leading the league
  6. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/09/30/jim-mora-doug-gottlieb_n_745458.html Interesting radio for sure....
  7. Ya.... until about midway through the 2nd quarter when he goes down again.
  8. That's what sold me on it!
  9. Hey guys... Not trying for a shameless plug here, but my company and I are having a tailgate party in the parking lot of Tailgaters Bar (corner of Southwestern & Abbott).... Thurman is going to be there from 10:00 - 11:30 talking to fans and just hanging out so if you get a chance, swing by and meet Thurman. That is all.... GO BILLS
  10. You get an A... very nice
  11. I can picture Edwards giving the Jags pointers on defending the Bills..... Coach: Trent, what do they like to do on 1st downs? Trent: Well, as I recall, pass to the flats to set up a 2nd and 9 Coach: Ok Trent, well what's their tendencies on 3rd and long? Trent: Well, as I recall, it was a pass to the flats to set up a punt Coach: Ok, thanks Trent, you can go
  12. I think Mallett's fastball makes an in-his-prime Favre fastball look like a wobby duck That's no comment on his potential to be a good qb, it just looks like the kid could throw a pigskin through a brick wall
  13. I actually like Kyle Williams because he plays with leverage, holds his gaps pretty well, and can control his man at the point of attack. I always wondered why when Williams is 6-1 and 306 he is undersized, but Troup at 6-2 315 is considered ideal size. Is the margin between undersized and ideal really 9 pounds?
  14. Love him or hate him, if you were completely unbiased and you watched that game yesterday, you would not defend Donte Whitner. Whatever preconceived position you have on the guy (which seems like that's what everyone seems so fixated on in this thread) not a single person should be defending Whitner's game yesterday. There is a reason he was one of the first people out of the locker room....
  15. I agree 100%.... Edwards views the football like a hot potato
  16. Well it seems to be working.....
  17. So you don't believe in a microcosm? I think the point is if he won't even throw it when the alternative is turning it over anyway, then his mindset, and attitude are not conducive to a guy you can even remotely count on to make people around him better.
  18. New England's cornerback situation is actually pretty awful. 286 yds, 2 TD 1 int
  19. It's funny how much better Manning's offensive line is than Curtis Painter's offensive line is. It's amazing how much better Tom Brady's offensive line is than Matt Cassel's line was. Oh wait, they are the same line, but Painter and Cassel get pounded and sacked while Brady and Manning are decisive and deliver the ball on time.
  20. Maybe if Whitner didn't look like a spaz playing dodgeball and instead took that ball for a pick 6 at GB people would stop laughing.
  21. Part of a QB's job is to make sure he doesn't get his guys killed by hanging them out there with a bad throw that puts them in a bad spot. The glove wearing Mary couldn't wait to get the football out of his hands on almost every snap and that throw to Johnson was a good example.
  22. Totally agree with everything you just wrote. I heard somewhere too that Locker has never led the Huskies to a winning record. Other first round QBs taken high with that same issue are.... Losman, Ramsey, and a few other flame outs. Makes you wonder
  23. I really liked watching Mallett play on Saturday....... thoroughly unimpressed with Locker, and that goes beyond his performance this past weekend.
  24. Just heard it.... link to follow
  25. I saw a lot of back shoulder passes in other games today to receivers who "weren't open". It's the NFL, you fit passes into tight windows, throw before receivers are out of their breaks, and occasionally huck one up hoping your guy makes a play.
