  1. "See if Kyler Murray is the guy in the future,"? Bro, you got Kyler ready to square up:
  2. We met with Audric Estime at the Combine as well. I think we are looking for a guy who fits that power back type of mold. Benson does run with power. We'd have to spend a 2nd on him though and I can't see it.
  3. I said this yesterday in the Diggs trade thread, that this situation could REALLY be addition by subtraction. This is what I was talking about in that. Allen has no one to try and appease now so he can just go play football again.
  4. https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/nfl-works-with-college-presidents-to-form-super-league I can't even claim to say I understand what this would do to College football, but things are already folding as we speak with these super conferences that have been forming. Things may look extremely different within the next 5 years or so. In one regard, it is rightfully so. These universities and other people in general have made billions off of the backs of these young men for years. The system has been corrupt for longer than many of us have been alive. Now things have taken a different turn.
  5. I actually think Franklin would be a solid contributor in that offense. Basically he would just be breaking off routes and looking for space when Lamar goes into his scramble drills. He was good at that while at Oregon.
  6. My guy is Legette, so you already know. I think he has the ability to be that big play WR who can take any ball to the house. Whether it be one Go route, a Slant, a Post, a Post Corner, he can get loose. I also like that he has a big body for a WR at 220lbs. I've seen comps of Deebo, and Steve Smith says DK, but I see AJ Brown with a bit more speed in the open field.
  7. He was the other guy I was seriously considering. Chose to lean towards the trenches instead.
  8. With the 26th pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers select, Graham Barton, Tackle, Duke University. The knee injuries that forced Ryan Jensen into retirement left a massive hole in our OL. Robert Hainsey filled in, but he really needs to be at one of the G positions. Barton has positional versatility, but is widely seen as the 2nd best Center prospect in this draft outside of JPJ. His mean streak on the field, especially in the run game, will have many people thinking Jensen is still manning the middle of the Bucs OL. @gonzo1105 and the Arizona Cardinals are on the clock.
  9. This is a bit overdramatic. The Bills aren't even close to being the Sabres. Josh Allen is about to turn 28 years old. The window is still wide open and will be as long as he is playing.
  10. You see what happens when Deebo gets hurt and they actually feature him. He does really well as "the guy" when he takes on that role. Still, I think that part of what we want to do is shed that big time salary, not take on another more pricey one. Aiyuk is going to want to be PAID. I think they get two WR's in this draft. One in the first and another in the 4th, or on a trade up into the 3rd.
  11. Guilty as charged
  12. Personally, I don't care Diggs is gone. So be it. We got a 2025 2nd, which is more than we would get next offseason if we held onto him. We also take the cap hit this year versus next. Thanks for the play the first couple of years, but the last couple your antics have been ridiculous. A very childish mentality. you can try to say, "He just wants to win. He's a competitor." But all of them want to win and they can keep their emotions under wraps, instead of having toddler type outbursts. Then he would run to social media all the time with his dumb antics as well. I was over it. I think everyone behind the scenes was over it. I think Josh did the best he could to keep the waters calm in all of his interviews, but he was over it. Let's go hit on a couple of WR's this draft and keep it moving. This situation REALLY could end up being addition by subtraction.
  13. Bill O'Brien, end of story.
  14. Inside scoop from Damar?
  15. I don't remember Josh mentioning Diggs in that interview with Kyle and Jordan recently. Maybe he already knew?
  16. Now he'll be viewed as the greatest FA signing of the offseason (if it happens) and Beane was sleeping at the wheel again.
  17. The couple of articles I read say no cause of death has been released pending an autopsy. First thing that came to me was a substance related OD. You would hope it wasn't something intentional, but you never know. There is so much laced with fentanyl these days that people really are playing Russian roulette. Seen too many people go away from here too soon due to it.
  18. You notice how all three of them stepped out of the passenger side of the vehicle. The last one seemingly Rice who hopped across the center console to get out, and they immediately start walking away.
  19. Sad situation. 35 years old is way too young. 😪
  20. I do think Cooper DeJean is going be a really good to great NFL Player, but I don't think he "needs" to be our pick. If he ends up being our pick because of how the board falls, because of some insane run on WR's, then fine. But if Legette is on the board along with DeJean at the time, I hope they take Legette.
  21. I'll take the Bucs @Virgil
  22. LB injuries hurt us this time. Not having a healthy Bernard against KC this year was a huge factor. Then, Douglas wasn't really up to par and the CB depth was an issue. You saw that the defense couldn't stop them to save their lives for most of the game.
  23. Not agreeing with I would love the pick, but that the Steelers draft him. Makes too much sense. I wouldn't be mad at Graham Barton, as long as we plan to make moves to jump up early in the 2nd, or even the late 1st for that matter, for a WR. If we could land Barton AND Legette somehow? Sign me up.
