Hard to say what's going on in one's head, or life really. For as exuberant as he was about the Chiefs, the rest of his life may have been a different story. One would hope that this wasn't an intentional situation where he purposely did not wear a seatbelt and let the alcohol lead him somewhere you can't come back from. Either way, the loss of life is always tough. And especially tough under these circumstances for his friends and family.

Buy: The Bills run game. Give me Josh/Cook/Murray/Johnson against this Dallas defense. The Cowboys are 5th against the pass, but 13th against the run. Keeping their offense off of the field and methodically wearing down their defense needs to happen. I also feel like there will be at least a handful of scripted runs for Josh this week. I'm thinking around 5 and this doesn't count the times he's going to take off because he sees a lane. I think we'll have 150yds or more on the ground. I also think the use of the run game, if effective like I think it will be, is going to open up a couple of shots down field this week we take advantage of. Sell: The Bills pass rush. The Cowboys OL is at full strength and they are top 5 in the league. I feel like our front four is going to have trouble getting after Dak, unless McDermott actually schemes up some creative stunts and blitz packages. I still don't like our prospects here. Hold: Stefon Diggs. People out here trying to write Diggs off, but I think this week he reminds everyone who he is. Bland is a ball hawk and Diggs loves to lull guys to sleep. I expect a couple of wink-and-nods between him and Josh where you see a double-move for big gains.

The report is, at season's end, the run is over. Apparently it has been decided for quite some time according to Tom Curran. The Pats have been in a slow, downward spiral since Brady left. Hope their futility continues for as long as they were seemingly on top. https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/report-robert-kraft-made-decision-to-part-ways-with-bill-belichick-after-week-10-loss-to-colts

This hurts them bad. Their backup Center is Eichenberg and he has struggled tremendously at the position. They play the Jets with Quinnen Williams, Dallas with their #3 defense, the Ravens with their #2 defense, and then us with Ed Oliver. I hope Tua makes it through the rest of the season healthy because the prospects are not looking good for his protection at the moment.

You might be right. His mom was saying something about players too though I thought.

Yes, because the coaching staff will definitely take it to heart.

Ed Oliver is playing out of his mind this season
H2o replied to Roundybout's topic in The Stadium Wall
Ed Oliver is one of the rare cases of a guy who gets paid and proceeds to have the best year of his career. -
Last time a WR here had a momma like that, we shipped him off to the Raiders

Did he see AJ Brown catch a football, take two steps, turn, have the ball punched out, the Bills recovered, but the refs called it an incomplete pass, and it never went to review? And all of this was in overtime where the Bills would have won if the correct call was made.

https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/justin-herbert-likely-to-have-surgery-on-fractured-finger-unclear-if-chargers-qb-will-return-per-report/ Hopefully they lose Thursday night against the Raiders. If they do, Herbert will be shut down. That will be 9 losses and they'll pretty much be out of contention for a WC spot. After that they'll just be playing for draft position. Trying to play after surgery on a broken index finger on one's throwing hand just doesn't sound like a feasible, nor the right option.

The Chiefs Big Three are Mahomes, Chris Jones and Kelce
H2o replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
They have been the darlings of the NFL since 2018 when Mahomes became the starter. He's always been built up as the heir apparent to Brady. The refs immediately started treating them as such. Sports media started treating them as such. They have constantly breezed through the regular season every year. Mahomes has never played a road Playoff game. This is the first time things haven't gone their way at every turn and they're upset about it. Oh well. -

Look at the body language and dejection on the face of Mahomes standing at the podium. It's absolutely priceless.

Two guys bearing down on him, stumbling backwards, about as close to the sidelines as you can get, and he drops a dime to Murray 20 yards down the field, who almost blew it. Who else in the league is making that throw outside of him? Possibly Mahomes, Burrow, and Rodgers are about the only 3 guys I can see doing that. The play begin at the 12:06 mark of the video.

This is exactly what I was thinking. For all of the crap calls and hose jobs we've endured the last 4 seasons, you've never seen Allen lose his cool or throw anyone else under the bus (teammates or coaches). He always shoulders the load. He is the epitome of a Team Captain, and leader, on and off the field.

James Cook's Kamara-esque game...(edit:new discussion on page 4)
H2o replied to Special K's topic in The Stadium Wall
Cook is 211 yards rushing from a 1,000 yard season. He's 4th on the team with 38 receptions (1 behind Gabe Davis, our #2 WR) for almost 400 yards. He's on pace for over 1,500 total yards. We haven't seen that since Shady. -
Oh it started the very second flag was thrown even though they showed Toney lined up across the LOS. Kermit blowing his top on the sidelines magnified it.

Top headline from ESPN this morning: I didn't see an outcry when we got COMPLETELY hosed by the refs against Philly. But now that their beloved Patrick has a legitimate penalty called that costs their team a TD? Oh, now there's outrage.
-
Seeing Mahomes lose his cool like that was pretty funny. Welcome to our world, where you find yourself on the short end of the yellow flags on a consistent basis. The guys fought hard today and found a way to win. One down, four to go. Go Bills!

Definitely Cook. Allen extending plays, making plays, and avoiding big losses was huge all day. Floyd, Oliver, and Epenesa all had big time plays.
