The Jets very well could be 0-6 when we play them in NJ come October 25.

Is the "read option" by the Bills something you like?
H2o replied to LB48's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This. I think the designed runs need to be put on the shelf. I think Josh is a more effective runner when it is on an improvisational basis. He's not Lamar Jackson who has played this style his whole life. Jackson takes hits different, holds the ball different, and that style is what his game is predicated off of. Josh is built to be a QB who can run if he has to, but shouldn't be having designed runs called outside of QB sneaks imo. -
Lamar Jackson pulled a Josh Allen and no one said a word.

Sure thing guy. Glad you follow me so closely on here apparently. Not trying to hurt your feels or anything, but I think this is the first time I recall even reading something you posted. -

Yeah, we've been the Siberia of football for years now according to them. The place no FA wanted to go, a losing organization, and a team that couldn't win the big one. The media loves to knock Josh, but he's already more accomplished than Mayfield and Darnold who were selected ahead of him. They don't like the taste of crow, but if we keep winning then it will be shoved down their throats whether they like it or not. -
No one carries an offense like Josh Allen (except R. Wilson)

Yep, go back and watch the film. That 71% comp rate, 312 passing yds, 57 rushing yds, and 3 TD's don't tell the whole story. He was bad out there on Sunday. -

I think the reason being is that the Ravens were demolishing the Browns and it wasn't during a Playoff game. -
Week 2 Power Rankings / Are we actually getting Respect?
H2o replied to Buffalo Boy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah, he was high on Allen from the start and it seemed to go through the roof after the interview segment he had with him prior to last season. -
I think it will be a week to week thing, but we will definitely see it a lot more this year. I also believe the Dimarco injury has a lot to do with it as well.

Yeah, Simms has been on the Bills/Allen bandwagon for a while now. Simms is alright, but Florio is just an arrogant douche nozzle. -

Well, the source is all you need to know. I watched the video last week where he and Simms were making the picks. I almost spit my coffee out laughing when he picked the Jets. -
Bills not coming out for National Anthem

I honestly didn't even cut the game on until it was about 2 minutes into the first quarter. All I saw was a normal broadcast. Then I hit the mute button when they got on the soap box for a minute or two. -
Browns figured out why they lost to the Ravens

To this point, I couldn't have been more wrong about Baker Mayfield. I thought Mayfield was going to be a Drew Brees type of QB. He seemed to be able to make every throw, to all levels of the field, and accurately in college. The one thing I was wrong about the most was how I thought he saw the field. I thought that reading defenses and going through his progressions was something he did well, but I think it's just another testament to that Lincoln Riley system at OU. He's definitely holding that team back with all of the talent they have on that roster. -
If you're looking for perfection you will never find it. He's never going to make the perfect throw or perfect decision every time he drops back in the pocket. No QB ever has or ever will game in and game out. There were 33 completions on 46 passes and a lot of those came from him standing in the pocket. The fact that he is able to read the defense pre-snap, adjust protections, and audible into plays that attacked the weakness of the defense is light years ahead of where he was when he took the field as a rookie. Every QB sits in the film room on a weekly basis and sees what he could have done different. It's what you do and try to learn from it. His footwork is way better than it was two seasons ago, the touch he is putting on the ball is way better than it was two seasons ago, and his understanding of the NFL game is way better than it was two seasons ago. Once he cleans up the fumbles you have a legitimate MVP candidate. Like I said, you can nitpick every little detail you want, but even Stevie Wonder can see that Josh is getting better.

The offense had 31 First Downs. 17 of those were on passing plays, 8 were rushing, and 6 from penalties. Two of those penalties were on PI calls and one a Holding call in the endzone. Josh took what the defense gave him all day, kept the chains moving, and showed improvement as a passer. Those who continue to nitpick at every single detail of his game, even when he is clearly improving and we are WINNING, will do so even if he ends up hoisting a Lombardi in a Bills uni. He's never going to be perfect. There will never be beautiful rainbows trailing off the back end of the football with every pass he throws. He will however end up being the best QB to ever don a Bills jersey other than Jim Kelly.

Tua is on deck Fitz-hat-trick of INT's Squish the got Phish -
Matekevich is probably on the same athletic plane as Klein so it really doesn't help. I wouldn't be surprised to see Marlowe on the field giving us a 3rd in the box type Safety on the field this week tbh, especially if Edmunds is out as well and Dodson has to man the middle.

From day 1 when Josh stepped onto the football field to take the snaps there was a different energy about this team. Not only he does the offense rally around him, but the defense seems to rally around him as well. He gives you everything he's got on every play. It's contagious. You see it and you can feel it. The whole vibe of the team changed once he lined up under Center.

I've said this multiple times on here that Gase was not only going to waste the years of Darnold while he was coach, but possibly even ruin him as a QB in general. I know he's not elite or anything, but look at Tannehill after he escaped Adam Gase. Pretty much everyone thought he was gonna be a backup at best for the rest of his career. He goes to Tennessee and earns himself a nice contract after having a career season. Yes he has some great talent around him, but his demeanor and play on the field was night/day in relation to Miami/Tennessee.
