  1. Yeah, disagree. We don't need his type of selfish, me-first attitude. There is also video of him putting his hands on a female. He's not going to end up here. And wears dresses
  2. Maybe I missed something, but how does Washington get #12?
  3. Just saw this on PFT. https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/penei-sewell-agrees-to-four-year-extension-with-lions And @GunnerBill is still shaking his head at the Bengals to this day
  4. With the 23rd pick, in the 2024 NFL Draft, the Minnesota Vikings select........ Bo Nix, Quarterback, Oregon. We like the value here after having picked up Byron Murphy II @ #11. Bo Nix has played a TON of college football, and has grown exponentially since arriving in Eugene. We also like having that 5th year option. He has 61 starts under his belt and 43 wins, with 22 of those wins coming over the last two seasons. In college he's thrown for 15,352 yards, 113 TD's, and 26 INT's. He's accounted for the 4th most TD's in NCAA history at 152. He got better every year in completion % and YPA. The last two seasons in Oregon have been outstanding. This past season where he was a Heisman finalist, he had 45 TD passes to 3, THREE, interceptions. This was to go along with a 77.2% completion rate. He has a strong arm, can make every throw on a football field, is smart, can look off the defense, knows when to take his check downs, goes through progressions, can buy himself time in the pocket, make off platform or on the run throws, is accurate to all levels of the field giving his guys the opportunity to get YAC, and is a threat to take off and run. The Lance Zierlien comp to Tony Romo is fairly accurate when you watch the two of them play, minus the mistakes with the football. Nix has matured as a QB and doesn't make those mistakes like he did at Auburn. I also see a bit of young Derek Carr in him. Both of the two, Romo and Carr, not bad QB's by any means. If you put him in an offense with Justin Jefferson, Jordan Addison, and TJ Hockenson? Yep, we think he will start from day one and surprise many while running our offense. @Might Rather and the Dallas Cowboys are on the clock.
  5. Sit on my living room couch and quietly watch it by myself. My wife will be watching her shows (Grey's Anatomy, The Masked Singer, The Golden Girls, Sex And The City, whatever) in the bedroom, my kids will be watching whatever or playing video games with their friends online in their rooms, and I veg in front of the TV for once.
  6. Thomas ran a 4.33, which is really fast by the way, but is 45lbs heavier than Worthy.
  7. I've said it from the beginning that MHJ, Nabers, and Odunze just seem to be a cut above the rest. If the opportunity presents itself, and it's not something absolutely ridiculous compensation wise, then you make that move. If we stay put and the Chiefs jump for a WR, then watch the same people saying "we shouldn't move up" claim it was the greatest move ever by an organization constantly beating us out.
  8. We DON'T have the $$$ for that. Aiyuk wants to get paid, likely in the $25M-$30M range, and Jefferson has already turned down a $30M per year offer. This team doesn't really have that many holes. CB depth, S depth, another LB, 3-Tech DT depth. A trade up for a TRUE alpha WR, one of the big 3, is not going to hurt us at all.
  9. With the 11th pick, in the 2024 NFL Draft, the Minnesota Vikings select....... Byron Murphy II, Defensive Tackle, Texas. After Daniels was off the board at #3, there was no QB worth trading up for in our eyes. The defense, however, does need some work as well. We take whom we feel is the best DT in this draft. A guy who will slot in as a 5-Tech in base sets, and a 3-Tech when we go into our 4 man fronts. He gets after it on the interior, having had 6 sacks and generating 36 pressures this past season. He is also stout against the run. A true 3-down interior defender. Brian Flores rejoices. Side note: Been so busy at work today I missed my chance at trading up for Daniels, who was my guy. C'est last vie. @HappyDays and the Bears are on the clock.
  10. Only because of his off-the-field stuff. He was heralded as a potential 1st Rounder prior to.
  11. I would take Legette. Go back and watch the college highlights of AJ Brown. They are VERY similar in size and style of play. I would say that Legette is probably faster in the open field though. McConkey reminds me of a taller Beasley. Even though I think McConkey will be solid for what he does, a possession guy who gets you 4 or 5 grabs a game for 50-60 yards, I see Legette as the game-breaker type of WR this offense truly needs.
  12. This is the worst Bills mock I have seen. Absolutely horrendous on all levels.
  13. Updated listing. Notice that Troy Franklin and Tez Walker are the only two WR's with 3 interactions.
  14. @Virgil I'll take Minnesota or Las Vegas
  15. Guys who will be there for us, guys I see as match-up problems, if we don't trade up for any of the big 3: Xavier Legette AD Mitchell Malachi Corley Troy Franklin
  16. I tend to think there are 3 groups. The 3rd can be seen below:
  17. I mean, more power to them. If they believe they can make more money hanging around for an extra year in college? Cool. It just kicks the draft depth down the line until it all evens out eventually.
  18. I don't really worry about all of the measurements when it comes to people making plays. If a guy can shake his defender, and Josh can throw an accurate ball, then the length of a ring finger added to an arm isn't that much of a difference. I think people get too caught up on the measurement of every arm, toe, and eyelash. I don't think that small of a talking point is truly relevant if the guy is a twitchy, solid route runner with excellent hands. I do think our WR situation pushes Shakir to the outside more often than previously seen, but I think this year will be more of a committee than in years before as well. I understand Davis and Samuel are different people, with different responsibilities. I just think that Brady will be able to utilize Samuel better than anyone else has and that Josh will be the best QB he's ever had slinging him the rock. I think that Samuel will see career highs in this offense if he stays healthy. I'm still all for drafting two WR's. Legette and Corley. Legette and Walker. Legette and Rice. Legette and McCaffrey. Mitchell and Corley. Mitchell and Walker. Mitchell and Rice. Mitchell and McCaffrey. Franklin and another guy. Worthy and whoever. We just need to make sure JA17 has some quality options at WR outside of the ones we have now.
  19. I'm not expecting a down year of any kind. The offseason talk right now is the same exact offseason talk we heard last year. "Two teams in our own division had passed us, this, that, blah, blah, blah," all by the sports network bobbleheads. We're getting Milano back, and one would hope we can have some better fortune on the injury front this year. Also, the young guys like Torrence, Bernard, Williams, and even Spencer Brown should all be better. One would hope Epenesa's numbers increase with more playing time. I also don't see us as being "paper thin" on defense either. We are transitioning a bit in our DB group, going younger at Safety and cutting Tre. We re-signed Rapp and brought in Mike Edwards at Safety. We let Dodson walk. We added some different, but no worse by any means, depth at DT. We let Floyd walk after a single season, but he faded big time down the stretch after the 2nd Jets game in mid-November. We probably need to add a DE between the 1st and 4th. I know there are guys that I like which fall into that range. I'm sure they have their board set up as well. We probably need to add another depth Safety and another depth CB (maybe 2), both positions which McD and Beane seem to have an eye for. Maybe another depth LB or two depending on what they want the roster to look like. We have 10 picks. If we draft 1 DE, 1 Safety, 2 CB, and 1 LB that's 5/10. Get 2 WR's and that's 7/10. The other 3/10 just a mix and match of whatever.
