OL blocking for sure--since all their doing is dancing right now and have no ability to stand the DL up--or even knock them on their ass. It's like asking a marksman to practice his shooting without giving him any bullets...

It's not meaningless to practice. It's meaningless to judge the pass rush by players blocking in their underware...

With no hitting, that pressure is absolutely meaningless...

The Ravens, with their classic drop back scheme designed for Flacco, would have been unlikely to have kept Taylor so long (or wanted to resign him) if all he could do is run. Teams aren't going to throw out their playbook if the starting QB goes down, even if it's a guy who never goes down like Flacco...

Big whoop. All the guy is doing is being a middle man, much like a realtor. His company lines up funding commitments from other lenders and packages/sells the originated loans to those firms and/or institutional investors. Of the $8 billion in originations, virtually none of it is money put up by his own firm--nor is the total return he makes much more than a typical NFL QB's salary...

Cutting Chris Williams frees up only $2.5 million with a dead cap hit of $875,000. Another $2.7 million could be found by cutting Freddie (highly doubtful, but who knows given the depth at RB). Same for Boobie ($1.1 million cap save, $166,666 dead cap). If they're comfortable with the progress of Duke Williams, they could keep Graham at corner and trade McLuv'n ($3.9 million in cap space, $1 million in dead cap). Make sure you buy at the duty free on the U.S. side. I made the mistake of traveling across the bridge to the Canadian duty free--and got told coming back that I could only bring two bottles into the U.S. that way. He let me go, but it sounds like it could go either way...

What does the fact that casino receipts are lagging have to do with the viability of a downtown stadium??? This is a problem with a funding mechanism, not a stadium issue.
