  1. "How was Marcell to know that Mongolian Buffet didn't have a drive thru window...."
  2. Jim Turner's not exactly an impartial "voice" here...
  3. Or make it up. Depending on how pissed they are at the Pats/Brady, this could be explosive...
  4. IMO, he was only 'noticeably slower' after he ripped up his groin and came back too soon, after missing only one game. He should have rehabbed longer, rather than trying to run on one leg--much like Nick O'Leary shouldn't have run the 40 at the combine when he wasn't fully healed and ran a poor time. A healthy Fred is the perfect change of pace back to Shady--and I expect him to make a nice impact once again this year.....
  5. If he were a depth S, LB or FB who never saw the field, would his special teams excellence be valued more? Easley's the Mark Pike of this generation of Bills... Imo Toodles....
  6. Who listens to interns, though...
  7. It would be a blast to find out, that's for sure...!
  8. Yep. Rex is extremely loyal to "his guys"...heck, he even signed Wes Miller because he reminded him of Jim Leonhard...
  9. Interesting thought... Yep. Could be just a favor from Rex--the longer he stays active in the NFL, the more chance he has to sign somewhere after he's cut... http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000492488/article/bills-sign-fb-john-the-terminator-conner
  10. Yeah, obviously Bobby does't have much connection to the FSU alumni fund raising folks.... http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2015/05/12/bobby-bowden-jamies-winston-an-embarrassment-to-fsu/
  11. Maybe they should throw Brady in a pond and see if he floats... http://www.history.com/news/history-lists/7-bizarre-witch-trial-tests
  12. Yeah, Roger has to put his foot down and stop this in the bud--or have the public perception of the NFL drift further and further toward having Vince McMahon be named the next commissioner...
  13. SDS needs to up the limit past 16 pages, however...
  14. What King seems to be hinting at is Brady could sue the league, which would likely cause this to drag into the season...
  15. INdubitably...
  16. Aggred. But the union also has to make sure it's not marginalized. They may hold their nose, but IMO they can't sit back and look like bystanders on such a high profile case...
  17. Yee and the Pats will have a week or more to make bad PR for a league obsessed with its marketing image. The networks and major advertising partners will be working the back channels. And if the NFLPA goes hard to support TB, I can see Goodell saying half a loaf is better than none....
  18. Yeah, I think it may drop to two games, after much bad PR for the NFL generated by Yee and the Pats surrogates. Sort of a split decision that nobody likes...
  19. What I meant is he can't ask for a reduction in the penalty and then continue to do the very thing he's being penalized for--not cooperating.. That would be like a crook saying -- "Reduce my sentance, judge, but don't expect me to give back what I stole..."
  20. Not until he cooperates...
  21. A bunch of teams ahead of the Bills could put in a claim for him then. Edit: Still, the Jets had him in for a pre-draft meeting in 2013, so Rex must have liked him at the time: http://nflspinzone.com/2013/03/27/jacksonville-jaguars-three-others-to-host-d-j-swearinger/ Even the Bills must have liked him, given the length of this interview with Chris Brown: http://www.buffalobills.com/news/article-2/Draft-Profile-S-Swearinger-a-striker/6edd1c73-a0f7-4a51-96f2-5b83eb684795
  22. According to his LinkedIn page, he left the Snooze in May 2014 and is now doing freelance work...
  23. He certainly would be affordable under our cap... http://overthecap.com/player/dj-swearinger/2266
  24. Ya think?? The Guild isn't what it used to be, but it's still there...making it difficult to fire members 'at will.'
