  1. Yeah...I think that point has been mentioned a few times here. BTW, Tom Cousineau says hello...
  2. All conjecture. What money, BTW? Seventh-round money that's pocket change and can't be compared to Shady's deal? Moreover, going with your logic, the Bills decision is no worse than 31 other teams...
  3. Not when his agent said he'd refuse to sign if drafted past the 3rd round. Ultimately, he'll make a lot more money being an UDFA and going to a team of his choosing than any 7th round pick would make, so it's an easy decision from his perspective. Also, aside from the Saint's and Houston, I believe Dallas is the closest NFL team to Baton Rouge. That would make it easy for his family to attend games, which may have been the deciding factor...
  4. He got exactly the same amount of money in Dallas (1.6 over 3 years) as he could have got in Buffalo. Face it...the kid had the unique ability to pick his team.
  5. Jesus, yes. Maybe I can get some work done now...
  6. Better than the Fins. I wonder if having the "best line in NFL history" is also a pitch for AP...
  7. Yes. With the Dolphins... http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2015/05/07/report-lael-collins-to-meet-with-dolphins-in-miami/
  8. Playing in a football-mad city like Dallas? Everyone connected to the 'Boys has something lined up, and/or opportunities to be a "guest" of wealthy ticket holders at all kinds of events...
  9. IMO, virtually every team courting him will be offering a starting job...that just goes with the recruiting pitch. What Buffalo may not be able to compete with is the opportunities for Collins to make endorsement and other off-the-field money by playing in a larger city. That may be an important factor, given the contract dollars he'll miss out on in the next two years.
  10. All Brady had to say was... "I asked them to make sure the balls were as soft as was permissable. I never authorized them to go below 12.5 psi and so I can't explain why they were." Instead, he tried to cover it up and wouldn't turn over texts and phone records.
  11. Someone should ask Yee if Brady would like to "clear up this misunderstanding" by turning over the texts and phone calls now. They must still exist, right?
  12. Wait...I thought NFL teams couldn't have contact with Collins until May 9th?? http://www.wafb.com/story/29003558/lael-collins-meets-with-dallas-cowboys ALLAS, TX (WVUE) - Outgoing LSU standout left tackle La'el Collins flew to Dallas Wednesday and received red carpet treatment from Cowboys owner Jerry Jones. Jones hosted Collins at his private residence, along with quarterback Tony Romo and the Cowboys' offensive line. Dallas is making a strong push to sign Collins, who is now a free agent after going undrafted last week. Per a FOX 8 source, Jones told La'el Collins the Cowboys want to assemble the greatest offensive line ever.
  13. Always good for a laugh...
  14. Am I reading this right? Is Brady's agent really implying that cheating is a condoned part of pro football culture and "football people" would have looked at the evidence in a different context??? "It is a sad day for the league as it has abdicated the resolution of football-specific issues to people who don't understand the context or culture of the sport." http://www.chatsports.com/top-news/a/Bradys-agent-Report-is-terrible-disappointment-1-11412058
  15. Pretty telling... What's the league minimum for a vested vet like Spikes?
  16. Or...SDS, why do you limit the 'ignore' feature to 16 pages...
  17. Public Service Warning: Sully has weighed in with his brilliance on Shady's comments. I inadvertantly clicked on the column on the Snooze site, not knowing the author. As Rob Lowe says in the Direct TV ads, "Don't be like this guy...Don't click the 'McCoy Revelations Have No Merit' link....
  18. Agreed. Here's how Marv put it in his own words... http://buffalorising.com/2012/06/marv-levy-tells-us-how-he-motivate-the-buffalo-bills/ "How did we select motivated players? We tried to select only intensely motivated players. The game plan for success was simple, but it wasn’t easy. If you can run, throw, block, tackle, catch and kick better than your opponent, you will win. This requires good PR. Not public relations. But preparation and resilience. It is not about the will to win, but the will to prepare." http://cjonline.com/stories/080401/spo_halloffame.shtml#.VUrfLpI4nTY "It takes tremendous qualities of character to get so disappointed, to get so knocked down, and then to pick yourself up and then go through all the hard work and dedication it takes to get back there," he said. "It was a very resilient group, guys who stuck together."

  22. Good thing this is more of a civil proceeding then....
  23. http://legal-dictionary.thefreedictionary.com/Circumstantial+Evidence "Circumstantial evidence is most often employed in criminal trials. Many circumstances can create inferences about an accused's guilt in acriminal matter, including the accused's resistance to arrest; the presence of a motive or opportunity to commit the crime; the accused'spresence at the time and place of the crime; any denials, evasions, or contradictions on the part of the accused; and the general conduct ofthe accused."
