  1. More likely Collins said thanks for the dinner Rex. We'll be in touch...
  2. Maybe Seattle should give her an UDFA contract...
  3. Yep. But if the plane flew back to Buffalo at 7:35 this morning, that sounds like a meeting didn't happen today with the agent.
  4. So does this suggest the meeting never took place? I thought we were going to have a "sanctioned" meeting on Tuesday... Edit: First time I've seen the Cowboy's name mentioned as well: http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000491057/article/lael-collins-meets-with-bills-coach-rex-ryan
  5. Collins had a pre-draft visit with the Dolphins, so he already has a working knowledge of their situation. The fact he's speaking with them again is not encouraging... http://www.sun-sentinel.com/sports/miami-dolphins/sfl-dolphins-will-host-lsu-olineman-lael-collins-next-week-20150418-story.html
  6. "In an interview with The Seattle Times on Monday, Babson said an enraged Clark tried to quickly slam the door in her face, but she caught it before it could close." No to be flip or anything, but the fact a 44-year old woman could out-muscle an NFL defensive lineman should also be troubling to the Seahawks...
  7. More likely some player being run out of town ahead of the torches and pitchfork crowd...
  8. Well, if history is any guide...playoffs, here we come! http://www.buffalorumblings.com/2011/6/20/2228738/bickering-bills
  9. It happened here with Modrak after Buddy's first draft as GM http://articles.philly.com/2011-05-05/sports/29513145_1_tom-modrak-bills-fans-giants-quarterback-phil-simms
  10. It would become a part of the Florida State playbook, undoubtedly...
  11. But what's his Wonderlic??? Great letter, especially the last paragraph...
  12. Every GM loved him as a football player. The question was, "he's a great college player...but that might not translate to the NFL." We hear that all the time about college QBs. But how many overcome the odds? One? Two? I can't even think of another name off the top of my head. My take on Wilson is that he fell into the ideal situation and would not have anywhere near the success he's had if he'd been drafted by three-quarters of the the NFL teams, including the 2012 Bills...
  13. Let's hope Alex has better luck this year: http://espn.go.com/blog/st-louis-rams/post/_/id/16100/2014-offseason-in-review-dt-alex-carrington
  14. So, what's your take on this? http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/178106-polian-critical-of-bills-not-drafting-a-qb/?p=3548003
  15. As the above list suggests....results.
  16. http://www.nfl.com/combine/profiles/russell-wilson?id=2532975 "Wilson is this year's big-time question mark at quarterback. Unlike those who have held this title in the past, Wilson is a stellar passer who shows arm strength and accuracy when he is able to deliver the ball without a hitch. A transfer from North Carolina St. over the summer, he has outstanding football intelligence as he picked up the Wisconsin offense in a short time and was the opening-day starter. However, at his height teams will have concerns whether or not he can see to make the throws at the next level. He is a mechanical mover who has strong technique and leadership qualities. If Wilson were three inches taller there would be debate at the top of the draft as to where he fits in, but look for teams to take a flier on him in late rounds to see if he can develop and outplay his size."
  17. This would be a real nice depth signing, seeing that they didn't get any help at the position in the draft. We're likely to see them kicking the tires on several veteran FAs now, with Spikes and Landry perhaps up next.
  18. I suspect this week will clear things up, if the authorities can determine he wasn't involved.
  19. Along with 31 other teams...
  20. Openings for Spikes, Landry and a vet OL... "Assuming the above 11 players sign, the Bills will have three roster spots open." http://bills.buffalonews.com/2015/05/03/bills-look-to-fill-out-roster/
  21. Just got back from the Derby. Should be good to go again in no time... http://flightaware.com/live/flight/XSR960
  22. Davis was a reasonably good blocker as well as being lightning fast. While O'Leary won't be the track star Vernon was, he'll fit the other elements of his game pretty well. BTW, grampa Jack says he runs a 4.7 and shouldn't have run at the combine, due to a hammy injury...
