  1. "in 2014 and actually led the ACC with 125 knockdown blocks and a 92.38% blocking grade. That’s outstanding. Starting at left guard for the entire season Miller only allowed two sacks. He’s 6-foot-2, 303-pounds and is very strong, especially in the lower body. Miller has an excellent initial punch and plays with a tough and relentless attitude and effort." Dave-Te' Thomas Player Evaluation
  2. Another positive profile (albeit a bit biased)... http://www.tomahawknation.com/2015/4/26/8463845/florida-state-ronald-darby-nfl-draft-profile
  3. I'm leary of those reports as well. They're all over the place on Darby, with some like the NFL.com critical of his physical play and others like Nolan Narwocki (formerly of Pro Football Weekly) saying he's got "excellent striking ability and is quick to support the run." Other tidbits: 41.5" vertical 1.5 second 10-yard split 4% body fat at the combine--lowest of any DB I'll take your advice and just trust my eyes with the game video...
  4. A well-balanced profile on Darby: http://cowboysblog.dallasnews.com/2015/03/2015-draft-profile-ronald-darby-cb-florida-state.html/
  5. We'll have to see, I guess. When it's mentioned in every single draft profile as a weakness, it's more than the opinion of one ACC assistant coach. If teams think they can run at him, then the scheme better cover him up...
  6. That was my initial feeling as well. I expected a CB at either 50 or 81, but have mixed fellings about a guy whose toughness is a question mark. His teammate P.J. Williams sounds more like the player I'd guess Rex would like...
  7. As in statue? More like Mini Me...
  8. Except Iupati is 6'5" 331...
  9. At 6'2" 303 he might be the smallest OL on the roster. He better be tough...
  10. I like the pick better already...
  11. Wanted Williams but will not complain about addressing the OL... (his profile sounds a lot like Richardson from last year)
  12. Well, there was no trade...
  13. Well, that's Williams. Score another one for Leroi...
  14. Oh oh, the Lions just jumped up in front of the Bills....
  15. Woot....Winfield was one of the most physical CBs against the run ever...that doesn't seem to be Darby's rep / MO...
  16. I just hope KC doesn't swipe him out from under us at 80...
  17. I sense that Whaley's grades tend to be higher than what's publically available to us great unwashed. Williams at 81 will be higher than most sites have him rated. I like that OT a great deal, however, so...Way to go Doug! LOL....
  18. INdeed... I'm guessing they ran his way, however... SOURCES TELL US "I worry about his toughness against the run. He's just fine in coverage, but he will have teams running at him every chance they get until he proves he's willing to step up and be tough." -- ACC assistant coach http://www.nfl.com/draft/2015/profiles/ronald-darby?id=2552689
  19. Never to be heard from again until he's a FA...
  20. Maronne will coach him up....
  21. I have no problem with that... And Marrone gets to coach Cann....oh, the ignominity.
  22. That would be a very good pick.
  23. "The Bills are already pretty stacked at corner. They have Leodis McKelvin and Stephon Gilmore. Darby is a quick-footed, fiesty corner. However, he has struggled to find the football with his back to the quarterback." -- Mike Mayock SOURCES TELL US "I worry about his toughness against the run. He's just fine in coverage, but he will have teams running at him every chance they get until he proves he's willing to step up and be tough." -- ACC assistant coach
  24. Now we know why Shady's in Vegas...
  25. Well, he certainly still has a big hole to fill....
