  1. Dont hold your breath on that happening any time soon...
  2. Step 1: Click on your user name in the upper right corner of the page. Step 2: Click on Manage User Prefs. Step 3: Copy the user name of the person you want to ignore into the "add a new user to my list" field and check all three boxes. Step 4: Click "save changes."
  3. Vic says he will still work camp, then be suspended to start the season...
  4. It's funny. Vic seems "different" somehow in his second go round at the Snooze. He was exceptional back in the Monday Night Quarterback days, with Felser and Murph. Now he just seems tired and "phoning it in" in many ways. I can't put my finger on it, but I rarely feel like saying, "Wow, this guy's good" like I used too...
  5. I thought the video would be cheesy, but it was pretty cool to see all those folks singing and playing their hearts out. Also caught the Buffalo stop on the Wasting Light tour in 2011 with my then-15 year old son. It was the best father-son generational bonding experience we'd had up to that point and he talks about it more than any other concert we've attended since. They did a killer cover of Floyd's In the Flesh as well. Dave sometimes comes off as trying too hard to please the audience, but there's no doubt his heart's in the right place in terms of carrying the torch for the great bands that have come before. His enthusiasm's infectious and easy to get caught up in...
  6. Good way of looking at it...
  7. Until he shows progress on the field, nobody knows--including NFL talent evaluators. Still, I thought the comments about his throwing motion were spot on and it will be interesting to see how that shakes out in training camp...
  8. Which makes PFF's comment about "not being surprised" he was released based on his injury-plagued 2014 performance laughable. Those geeks think they're playing Xbox with real people and have the attention span of gnats...
  9. People hang on every word too much, IMO. His comments, your comments, my comments, our comments. Just farts in the collective wind outside of Sundays at 1:05 pm...
  10. Maybe it's sinking in in Patriot-land as well (results to a Boston Globe poll)... http://www.bostonglobe.com/sports/2015/07/28/poll-does-nfl-ruling-change-your-mind-brady/BmuewuQ2N9Gr8PVMN5hPDI/story.html
  11. Agreed. I was just pounding on TG. He's a 'features' guy in a 'reporting' town, however, so his long-form pieces are a bit of a bottom line killer in terms of uncle Warren's income statement. Wouldn't be surprised to see Timah move on to 'bigger and better opportunies' sometime in the intermediate future, much like he did when he left the Snooze previously...
  12. What would you expect from a guy who's law degree came in a cereal box...
  13. The only certainty is that 80% of the people who liked the Incognito signing will slag Whaley's evaluation skills if Richie doesn't come through. Not many mirrors around when players don't live up to expectations...
  14. Maybe the sports desk editors don't know what to do with TG (especially now that they've hired another Bills reporter who actually, wait for it...reports, and gave him this assignment to at least fill column inches...
  15. I think that strategy would be a risk in terms of the public perception that he's guilty but got off on a technicality. He'd get to play but would be tainted in the long run. He needs to get an exoneration, not a "process" win...
  16. Exactly. After Donahoe, Ralph wanted someone he trusted in the position. Marv owed his whole career to Ralph and also considered him a friend, so he accepted the GM job even though he knew he wasn't qualified for it. Marv was always a caretaker whose major responsibility was to reconnect Ralph to the team, with everything else being incidental...
  17. Man, I hate these threads from a 'Manage Ignore Prefs' perspective...
  18. Welp. A fine use of Buffett's money...
  19. Says a guy whose avatar is giving us the finger. Got it...
  20. Bring back Laurie...
  21. Be on time for meetings.... Study your playbook... Know your assignments... Never, ever listen to fans... Got it.
  22. Big F'n deal. As I said, it's his business. We've had a lot of immature, selfish players whose personal lives are anathma to the white-bread suburban fanbase. The only difference is that some were more public about it than others. What happens for 60 minutes between the hash marks is what will determine whether Shady is a plus or a minus in Buffalo...not TMZ coverage.
  23. So step away from it and only watch the games themselves. The shark's what's important...not the ramora.
