  1. Same as they always have. There's very little self reflection on the Interweb....
  2. Take a hint from the Sarge...as fans, we're in the same boat.
  3. IN.... (But if this thread lasts, Cassel's starting Friday night and TT is a 4th-year player who probably has a good handle on what Roman's trying to do. It could just as easily be that they want to give E.J. an extra week to absorb the new playbook and let him show what he's got against the Brownies on national TV...)
  4. No word yet as to whether the truck owed him money... http://www.buffalonews.com/city-region/police-blotter/man-accused-of-punching-truck-at-krull-park-20150811
  5. I'd give it until the Tuesday after the Browns game (which is being carried by ESPN )....
  6. Still a problem--if anyone else gets an injury they'd have to go on season-ending IR. The rules state: During each season a club will be permitted to return one player from the Reserve/Injured List to its 53-player Active/Inactive List. Such player must have suffered a major football-related injury (defined as an injury that renders the player physically unable to practice or play football for a period of at least six weeks [42 calendar days] from the date that the injury occurred) after reporting to training camp and must have been placed on Reserve/Injured after 4:00 p.m., New York time, on the Tuesday after the final roster reduction. A player who is eligible to return must be noted as "Designated for Return" at the time the player is placed on Reserve.
  7. You can't make this stuff up... "...if Enemkpali has done nothing else during his playing career, it’s been bringing the quarterback down. And in today’s game, Enemkpali believes that’s the most important thing."
  8. "‘IK,’ as his teammates like to call him, fights his way around tackling dummies with mighty swats before sprinting to the goal post. There, he jams his massive hands into the base over and over again, working in a series of punches and crossovers." Seems in character for IK, since Geno's a dummy who gets tackled a lot...
  9. Tom doesn't appear to be stressing much... http://pagesix.com/2015/08/11/ex-affleck-nanny-took-private-jet-to-vegas-with-ben-and-tom-brady/?_ga=1.25999293.1256400624.1439317948
  10. If he said what you wrote verbatim, then no he didn't: Sal: "We are getting to the point where EJ isn't an option for week 1" Lurker: So how close are we to that point, Sal? One week? Two? If E.J. is productive Friday night, does that change your timetable? Or are you just stirring the pot to stand out from the media white noise around the QB derby? As I understand it, they're still installing the offense. How can E.J. be counted out before the playbook has been taught and practiced over 1-2 preseason games?
  11. I don't read it that way at all...
  12. It's E.J.'s fault...
  13. ...I've got a made up mind I've got a made up mind If you're thinking I might break down in time You're gonna find I've got a made up mind
  14. Bedenko's real target is Croce, not Kane. Croce is part of the 'business establishment'--therefore, he is evil incarnate and red meat to "The Pubic's" readership. Kane is just an enabler for his canned rant against "The Man"... Imo
  15. Just as likely that the reporter had a preconceived story line and got the quotes and soundbites needed to fill it in. That seems to be how so many 'journalists' now operate in the "short-deadline-have-to-be-first-who-knows-if-its-right-or-wrong" Internet age. Not saying the South Buffalo pride angle isn't a widespread sentiment. Just, that it's easier to sell something that meets expectations than something that turns them on their head (i.e., actually requires the typical reader to rub two brain cells together)...
  16. Joe's an asshat. Just put him on ignore like you can with TSW posters who provide no objective value to the board...
  17. Thirsty's is a neat place... http://www.democratandchronicle.com/story/news/local/rocroots/2015/05/27/thirstys-pittsford/28009193/
  18. The problem with guys like Bednecko and the rag he writes for is that they're locked in to seeing boogymen and ill intentions in everything, 24/7/365. It's a form of prejudice that's just as bad as what they decree from the 'establishment' types they continually target. That article would have been written no matter what. The Kane incident was just another trigger opportunity to let it fly...
  19. Letting EJ and TT go against the 2s and 3s is actually the smart way to get them some success and build toward picking a starter. If either guy had trouble moving the ball against the Carolina starters it would be a media shitstorm...
  20. Who cares. He said nothing controversial, IMO. A few stories ran over the weekend and the sun came up today. By tomorrow it will be forgotten as the media look for fresh 'product'.... Imo
  21. Absolute nonsense. This writer's dancing at the edge of a defamation case. Doesn't surprise me though, given the nature of that "publication." :...a full 80% of that article — give or take — is devoted to SkyBar owner Mark Croce going out of his way to portray Kane’s accuser as a lying, gold-digging whore of a B word."
