I find Bill to be one of the smartest posters on this forum. I look forward to reading his comments. He clearly understands the game.
Jauron has coached 8 NFL seasons and is well under .500 as a coach. The pieces to compete? Expand on that, what is lacking ? Because I have seen many so called inferior teams win games due to good coaching. Look to the 2008 Miami Dolphins coming off a 1 win season in 2007. The coach melded together the pieces he had to work with and they won.
How about the hapless 49ers last year that beat Buffalo on their home field with a new coach, they apparently had the right pieces to compete that day. The Browns who also fired their coach beat Buffalo at home with an inexerienced QB. Somehow this team that drafted in the top 5 found the right pieces to compete against Jauron's team.
Juaron's teams fall apart with turnovers, dropped passes, non challenged plays, wasted timeouts, conserative fg attempts which are coaching decisions.
Bill is right, Jauron is a lousy head coach; nice guy or not.
