  1. Clearly the guy is a talent upgrade. Is there even a question? PR is the side benefit.
  2. I don't recall a lot of trades in the NFL to dump salary like we see in MLB and NBA. I don't see it.
  3. He is the young player I see as having star potential even before the TO pickup. A pass rush will help him more than TO.
  4. Trade out of the spot. Not likely he lasts but who knows. History says we would take a cb before a wideout in round one. So let's hope Jenkins is off the board.
  5. My guess is Kendall Simmons, Cato June and I am not ruling out Mike Brown due to his Jauron connection.
  6. I think he is seeing which ones last a while so he can lowball the last man standing. If one of those olb's signs elsewhere, Russ will move quicker. No need to jump just yet.
  7. The guy has some issues no doubt but Dallas lost a playoff game as Romo dropped the center snap on a chipshot fg. Hardly Owens fault. And I thought he played pretty well in the Super Bowl coming off a serious injury. When was our last playoff win?
  8. He is a big time talent when healthy. I cannot imagine he wouldn't find work quickly. Running backs decline quickly but I believe he can still play at a high level.
  9. I am on board ostic. It goes against all conventional wisdom, then again retaining Dick Jauron and hiring Marv as GM went against all conventional wisdom. I am tired of 7-9.
  10. I thought this blog article made a lot of sense. I do believe a TE would be in the mix as well.
  11. Denver has to likely replace Marshall due to suspension so it's possible. The redskins seem like a fit as TO would want to play Dallas twice a year. As for Buffalo, why would we want a guy who could disrupt our 7-9 run. It would take a leader like Polian or Marv to convince a TO type to come to Buffalo. Russ Brandon is in way over his head as a GM and is never going to pursuade someone like Owens to come to Buffalo.
  12. He is a good cornerback. No move is necessary.
  13. I can dream about it like the rest but the reality is this would never happen. A move like signing Owens is way too big for Brandon and the "inner circle". Jauron and Brandon would be intimidated by Owens, I simply could not see them dealing with him.
  14. Great post Tipster!!!!!!!!! We are losing out on the chance to go 7-9 if we sign him. Most teams do not need TO nor would they want him, but Buffalo could actually use him.
  15. Imagine Beast Mode and TO putting on a show. We haven't had a lot of hotdogging since Bruce and Biscuit left town. I bet Brandon is thinking about it.
  16. My issue would be Trent rarely throws downfield so Galloway is going to go to waste.
  17. I can see him now posing in the endzone with the Shout song playing. Get it done Russ!!!!!!!
  18. Makes a lot of sense. Brandon will imagine the throngs to see TO at St. John Fisher. I think this thing has wheels.
  19. This will be Brandon's defining moment. He knows he is low man on the totem pole in the AFC East with Belicheck and the Tuna getting all the love. I think he makes a play for TO. Even getting him to come and tour the facilities would have Brandon all over ESPN.
  20. A lot of teams do that. Hopefully, the hole we created with Dockery is filled by a draft pick. One way to get a lineman drafted. One can hope............
  21. Didn't Modrak bring him to Philly? Brandon is a marketing wiz. This thing might have wheels. Who needs Coles? Let's go for it.
  22. I have to admit it would make things interesting around here and it would be a complete flip to the homogonized atmosphere Dick Jauron has created. First sign a guard then bring in TO.
  23. He would't have to worry about the QB favoring the TE in our offense.
  24. Holt, Drew Bennett or Demetrius Williams. Bennett is never healthy but had a few good years. Holt is going to be expensive.
  25. I would take Foster over Kevin Jones any day.
