  1. Last year the Roman/Tyrod offense led the league in 3 and outs. This year through 2 games, they lead the league in 3 and outs. While scoring is always good, stalled drives do put pressure on a defense.
  2. He has a perfect role. Gets input but no direct responsibility. Probably was threatened by potential of Bill Polian being a football czar and having Terry's ear.
  3. I want to see the middle hold up in the run game without Dareus. Can #94 perform when the lights come on? Can the defense disrupt the passer ? I am curious to see tonight if by chance they have figured out that Cousins likes to run bootleg plays. After last years beat down, hopefully, they can defense those plays.
  4. I was pretty impressed with Little. I am not sure what plays he was "outmatched" on. He is a big target who made 2 red zone catches. #30 running down Rainey on his long run was impressive. Cyrus and John Miller both look improved.
  5. Kevon Seymour looks like a game 1 contributor. Cardale Jones was pretty impressive and will be under no pressure to play early. Preston Brown looks more comfortable out there. In his limited action, McCoy looked really quick. Jon Williams looks like a natural runner. Negatives- Hankerson just does not have the hands of an NFL receiver. He looks the part and does get open. Carpenter's FG from 53 was no where near the uprights. Defense on screen pass was frighteningly bad. Chalk it up to preseason.
  6. Tony Boselli dominated pre injury. 5 pro bowls, all decade selection Joe Jacoby OT of Skins,6 time finalist in HOF voting Cliff Branch Raiders- missed wide open passing era, still one of best yards per catch in history LC Greenwood 6 time pro bowler, all decade team of 70's Mark Bavaro- complete TE, one of best blockers, career cut short by bad knee Agree with Roger Craig backers
  7. Mulberry is tremendous. Lasagna is 5 star. Steve's Ox Roast- Outstanding roast beef sandwich Breakfast- Original Pancake House - Williamsville Steak- Buffalo Chophouse is very good- bring your wallet! Pizza- Bocce is good, Danny's near the stadium has good pizza
  8. Johnny Football is prominently mentioned on his website. whitfieldathletix.com/alumni
  9. Rochester's own Jarron Jones, nose tackle for Notre Dame will shot up these draft boards if he can put a healthy season together.
  10. Was an impressive interview. It will be interesting to see him develop in a pro set offense.
  11. Would love to see Devon Cajuste from Stanford. LI kid with above avg size and best 3 scone score for wr at combine. Reportedly, Belichek loves him. Notre Dame could never cover him.
  12. Bosa graded out as the second highest rated prospect in the draft by Ourlads Scouting publication and #2 by Pro Football Focus. Watching clips, he played well against the best competition and never gets moved backwards. Nick Saban had Alabama double team him a lot and ran the other way most of the night in last year's Sugar Bowl. I would take Bosa in a heartbeat.
  13. Going back to last year and the second half of the season. The lack of a pass rush and the inability to cover a tight end led to Kirk Cousins, Alex Smith and Sam Bradford looking like Montana in his prime. They need a DE and an outside backer. I think they take a DE if one of the good ones fall like Shaq Lawson or Jarron Reed who can play DE. If they are gone, they go play making OLB like Darron Lee or Noah Spence.
  14. I don't see Ragland being the pick. He is a 2 down linebacker, I think it's Lee, Spence or Lawson.
  15. Pass rusher or OT. As one of the league leaders in 3 and outs, a good OT may help the defense as much as a pass rusher. Keep them off the field as much as possible.
  16. Rob Ryan liked him. http://espn.go.com/blog/dallas/cowboys/post/_/id/4701497/bruce-carter-much-better-than-rob-ryan-thought
  17. Good highlights https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jYrKB5HaJPE
  18. Decent article about his play. Fan comments at the bottom are telling as well. http://www.thefalcoholic.com/2016/2/7/10918104/falcons-roster-review-kroy-biermann-rides-again
  19. Looks like a good pickup. http://nfldraftreport.sportsblog.com/posts/13720217/minnesota-s-versatile-special-teams-demon--robert-blanton-might-find-a-new-home-in-the-nfc-east.html
  20. There's a surprise. We need the players to fill the roster at the rate they are leaving.
  21. DLine and LB. Tony Steward is intriguing. Need a lB who can rush passer. Too bad Jaylon Smith got hurt. He would have been ideal. Lee from Ohio State is a playmaker.
  22. I hope the team get it turned around this year. I do have a hard time hanging my hat on a win against Kellen Moore and Fitz as a turnaround. Same group was embarrassed by the Redskins before those games.
