Outrageous Player Behavior - Reaction?
apuszczalowski replied to Irv's topic in Off the Wall Archives
I don't think it has had any negative affects on their careers or tarnished their images. If anything, it may have had a positive affect on their image. When was the last time TO, or Moss, or Deon played and yet we still talk about them. They are remembered and have been given opportunities outside of playing the game because of their reputations and being known outside of being on a football field. Do you think Larry Fitzgerald will be given a chance to be on Dancing with the Stars when his career is over? How many people outside of NFL fans will know who he is? Those guys always managed to stay in the spotlight even when it didn't have to do with their play on the field. There are some who may have taken it too far like AB recently, but going from a potential bottom 3rd team to a SB contender in one afternoon isn't really a bad thing. -
AJ Green running in practice
apuszczalowski replied to Kingston Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I believe they weren't expecting him back til after week 4, he was going to be out a while but not long enough to make it worth putting him on IR If he just started running now, I would think he would need more then a week to get back into game shape and up to speed, I wouldn't expect him at 100% if he played week 3 -
Meh. Thumb, Toe...What's the Difference
apuszczalowski replied to Lurker's topic in Off the Wall Archives
I guess it depends on if it is just the tip of the thumb/toe or the full thing... -
I have seen advertisements that you can buy a 6' animated Pennywise from Wayfair online, if you have some money to throw away and really want to scare him.........

Apparently it was Finn Wolfhard from Stranger things that recommended Hader to play him as his older self. They apparently asked the younger cast who they think should play them as adults.

OBJ Wears $250K Watch During Game
apuszczalowski replied to JP's Voice's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He is definitely a guy the others should be looking up to. They said yesterday it looked like he told Murray to get him the ball and they both carried the Cards back into the game in the 4th Guys like OBJ and Brown would have probably been off getting prepped for post game interviews or sulking that they weren't getting more throws instead of taking leadership... -

Have they ever won one? J/k Yesterday was the first time a rookie QB has ever tied in their NFL debut (Murray and the Cardinals) -
OBJ Wears $250K Watch During Game
apuszczalowski replied to JP's Voice's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
First time I read about it they said $350k, now it's $200k. Did the value decrease because it's been worn now? Or maybe it got a scratch? Lol I thought maybe he forgot to take it off too? They said he could face a huge fine from the NFL for wearing it, and they compared Urlacher getting $100k fine for wearing a Vitamin Water hat during a post game interview because the watch wasn't from a sponsored company. I'm sure he could now sell it online as a 'game worn' item and make back what ever it was worth and enough to cover any fines if he also signs the box it came in.... -
Then it should be locked and removed from a Bills message board? Right? Just messing with you.......

Week 4 Against the Pats.... ??
apuszczalowski replied to Scorp83's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
More wishful thinking that AB is going to take them down from inside. This is what he wanted, to go to NE and get a chance at a SB, he won't be a cancer cause he knows it won't get him anywhere else except right out of the league. This happens all the time with problem guys the Pats pick up, they are all problems until they get to NE and they get their best chance to win. He could win this year and sign a new deal somewhere else next year by proving he can play nice. And this is the Pats, there will be plenty of catches to go around, it's not like they are lost teams and would start holding back when they score 30 or 59 points, they keep going until you stop them. -
First Half wasn't as awful as everyone is saying
apuszczalowski replied to mjt328's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think it was a combo of the Jets lost ng their best defender and the defence being tired compared to the Bills RBs being fresh from getting very little work in the first half that helped the run game late. -

apuszczalowski replied to mjt328's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No, it is a moral victory because they couldn't do what they are supposed to do and end up with points on the board. And yes, the Jets were lucky too that they weren't being blown out because if the Bills didn't gift them with the TOs, they could have easily been blown out by halftime -

apuszczalowski replied to mjt328's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
yup, Technically, yes, it was a -3 differential, but for 99.9% of the game it was -4 with the last one coming on the final play to end the game. The same people complaining about it making a difference that it was actually -3 are probably the same ones that discount a players stat because they came in garbage time of a game. -

Exactly, you want to be so right that your in denial that he can do any wrong. There's nothing wrong with being critical and saying he didn't play well in the first half. I would say almost everyone here wants to see him become the GOAT and make the league say 'Brady who?', but it doesn't mean your not watching if you don't think he had no faults yesterday. If Darnold had that half everyone here would be laughing at the Jets calling him a bust and going on about how the Bills picked the better QB. Brady, Brees, Rogers? It would all be about how they are done and need to retire..... -

I did watch them move the ball, but it either ended up getting taken away by the Jets or not ending up as points. Turning the ball over 4 times is not a good thing. No one outside of Buffalo is going to look at that first half of the game and think it was a great half for Allen and the Bills offence. Getting excited over moving the ball on offence while not getting points is a moral victory that I thought the Bills shouldn't be excited over? They got lucky the Jets were able to capitalize on the errors and that they basically played most of the game without a kicker because they couldn't trust him to make a kick. -

You're right, it wasn't a good half by Allen and the offence and the only reason it's now being looked as as being great was because they eventually one. The defence was excellent and made sure those mistakes didn't come back to bite them. If the defence wasn't good, or they couldn't pull off a comeback people would be looking back at the mistakes made in the first half. They were very lucky that the defence played so well and the Jets couldn't capitalize on the mistakes, hopefully this is out of their system and its not going to happen again because they may not be so lucky against other teams. -
4th & 1, how did LeVeon Bell get that?
apuszczalowski replied to Estro's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I was wondering what happened. I walked back into the room as they were playing the replay and wasn't fully paying attention but thought they stopped him. I was wondering why it was 1st down Jets when they came back from the replay..... -
Mutiny in Miami after Blow out Loss
apuszczalowski replied to Golden Goat's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agree, and I think they were smart too and have tailored the offence to his skill set instead of doing what many coaches would have done and tried to make him the type of QB they wanted to fit their offence. I was thinking the same thing, he may end up joining Luck and retiring soon because of nagging injuries and not wanting to go through the motions anymore. -
Week 4 Against the Pats.... ??
apuszczalowski replied to Scorp83's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Silver lining is that it might be the Bills first loss of the year that week, and the Bills may not be the only team suffering a loss against NE this year, 13 other teams could end up with the same result...... -
All the reports earlier when cuts were made was that he would be brought back (if not picked up by someone else) after week one when they could shift someone else around on the roster and he would not be guaranteed his salary for the season. I would think it's almost a given he is brought back tomorrow.

Conners now just average? Wasn't he the reason why everyone keeps saying you don't need to spend money on a RB because you can get them anywhere and that he was the reason why they could let Bell sit out?
