  1. Ravens fans are petitioning the team to remove the ray lewis statue outside the stadium because he knelt with the team this week. No petitions for the statue being put up for a guy who may have been apart of a murder, but knee for the anthem and it's time to take it down!
  2. unlike the previous guy right? That guy never had anything bad spoken about him, no one ever called him things or tried to have people believe he wasn't American or was a terrorist Difference is, what's being said now about the current guy (who was one of the people behind a lot of the attacks on the previous guy) is true. But now that your guy is in, it's time to stop the insults and work together as one, unlike when the last guy was in charge.......
  3. and considering there are many vets who have acknowledged that they don't have a personal issue with it because part oaf their purpose in serving.is to fight and protect those people rights to have and express differing opinions and a right to protest.
  4. Yup, may have just been a joke and TT took it that way, but still a taunt and against the rules..........
  5. Its only the broncos................
  6. those all would have been catches if 'anyone but TT' threw the ball......
  7. the only team to truly "tank" for their qb would be the colts for luck.
  8. and Watkins could injure himself next week and miss the next 8 games, then come back and play less then 100% the rest of the year too
  9. Fans at the end of a season "We need to rebuild! Sell everything off! Collect as many draft picks as possible! Get a new GM and coach! We need to suck fir a few years to get better players!" BILLS off-season - hire a new coach and gm - use assetts to obtain additional picks in the next draft - attempt to change the laid back culture around the team from previous coach whom everyone complained let things get too lax - get the defence back close to a level it was at recently when it was on of the better ones. - go 1-1 to start a season while losing a game where they were within a scoring of winning it against a team that was supposed to destroy them Bills fans "Ugh! Fire everyone and start over! It's going to be over 17 years without playoffs now! These guys don't know what they are doing! Should have kept the last coaches! How are draft picks helping us NOW! This franchise is the worst ever in NFL history! I'm so done with this team!"
  10. it could also be a very, very late 1st too!
  11. but you are only guaranteed one more year with him unless you are willing to tie up a large chunk of your cap space to keep him around.so it doesn't matter if he is 24/25, 20 or 45, your only going to get one more year if you picked up his 5th year option. Something the front office didn't want to do based off his history of not being able to stay on the field or always playing with some sort of injury. So were those same comments about the Bills letting all the great players go being made about whitner? Byrd? Maybin? How many people here expected or wanted the bills to pay what the rams did for woods? The majority eoukd have lived to bring him back but at a much lower cost, which is most likely the same thought as the front office. Almost everyone was ready to pack Goodwins stuff and send him out the door too because he could not be expected to stay on the field healthy. Even Hogan many here couldn't wait to get rid of and he was hated around here, no one understood what was seen in him until the Pats picked him up and then all the whining came out that the bills let him go.
  12. had Matthews, Gaines, Tyrod, etc had huge games against the 49ers, all we would hear is how it's only one game, and it's just the 49ers (just like we heard after the jets game). Watkins and woods have big games against the 49ers and the Watkins fan clubbers are grabbing their pitchforks to run the gmail and coach here out of town for trading him away.
  13. he could probably retire after this year and be a first ballot HOFer with those stats, if only Bills fans voted..... Tyrod, front office, coaching staff, other players, yup Just don't say anything not glowing about anyone who has moved on and improved/looked better
  14. Some are divisional games that are usually better then advertised by the teams standings, and some would be more intriguing because at the time the schedule was made there was potential for a storyline like the chiefs Texans w/ potentially 2 1st round rookie and from this year facing off. That's the problem w/ scheduling these games early, injuries can take the game from great matchup to complete dud quickly.
  15. and yet it's what the fans keep screaming for them to do (gut and rebuild) then won't accept the process to do it. There's always going to be changes to schemes when new coaches are hired and brought on. With some coaches **cough** Rex **cough** it is ego, they want it all their way and won't flex. With others they do what they can with what they know. In this case I don't see an issue with the coaching staff com8ng in and r7nning a different offence, it appears they have fixed or almost fixed the defence this year, and the offence was going to see changes soon anyways with a change in QB and the age of many of the players. The previous offence was a lot of false numbers anyways. The stats made them seem much better then they really were. Did people really see this as an offence that would be able to come from behind and win? Or come up with a critical score when needed? Or be able to compete with some of the better teams in a shootout? This team needs more then part of an off-season and 2 real games to get the offence back on track. If they still can't score next season, or they spend it again using their asserts on the defence, then it might be time to question things. But I don't think any franchise in the leagues history has ever gone through a coaching change where the new coach ran everything the same as the previous guy. Even if they hired Lynn as the HC, there's no guarantee he keeps the offence the same. He said after they promotedhim that he was just going to run the existing offence (simplified a bit) because he didn't have time to put his own system in.
  16. Italy has 'Dildo Beach', Buffalo has 'New Era Dildo Field'..............
  17. Maybe Richie can go down there and mentor them?
  18. So by 2 seperate investigations, the profeessor was cleared of any wrongdoing, but because it wasn't the results she believed, she is going to continue to fight to have the proffessor lose his job for something he has been cleared of twice of not doing? Seeing as how she is in the US, wouldn't she be doing that anyway?
  19. So the great OC Roman, how's he been doing with his new team? Should have kept Lynn and made him HC, his team with one of those really good QBs we ate all talking about needing are looking great at 0-2 This team had to move on from Rex, and the offence wasn't as great as people want to believe by looking at the stats/ranking. Did anyone here ever think that the offence was good enough to win a shootout? Or would get a comeback win? The choice was stay with the someone to keep a mid tier level offence in tact and try to redo the defence that actually was as good as advertised a few years ago, or find someone outside the organisation who would be able to rebuild the defence back to where it was quicker and work to rebuild the offence. It's funny how there are some who bash the front office for only giving Rex less than 2 full years, yet after 2 regular season games (with only one loss) have already turned on the new guy.....
  20. Maybe he is another in the long line of overhyped guys that look like HOfers year one then come crashing back to earth once teams get footage on them?
  21. Which I would say, is on the OC whos game plan didn't include it all day.
  22. He was just as much the problem as the QB, his offence has not shown at all, even in the 4 preseason games) that it is going to work well and be able to put up points. He has shown that the defence will have to play lights out while he hopes the offence will get a score or 2 to win. Remember after last week how some were saying that the vanilla offence against the jets was just so that he didn't give the offence away for the panthers? Or is he saving the real play calling so they wouldn't give away the secrets until the Broncos next week?
  23. So what your saying is that an elite (or top tier) QB would be an upgrade for this offence. I think every team is looking for that, but there are only so many to go around and not easy to obtain. But like you said, TT is not a great passer, its why they are a run heavy offence and if it doesn't work your not going to win many games or score alot of points. The Bills played a really good defence today and it made their offence look even worse then it normally would. Alot of the blame can be put on the QB for not being better or getting things going, but its not like he had help from the rest of the offence who were just as bad. The o-line stunk, WRs dropped balls, the RBs couldn't get anywhere. They were shut down by a good defence, lets not make this out to be like this was last week and the Jets did this to them How would you like to be a Seahawks fan right now watching them in a tie against the 49ers scoring only 6 points so far?
  24. Almost no one hear is "coming down hard" on a rookie WR, most are arguing that it is a catch that a WR should be expected to make and it wasn't a horribly thrown pass that would require a miracle to catch. But some here have to blame it all on the QB. And I agree, I'm just saying it would make sportscentre but only because it leads to a td for the win.................... Well that throw to Stevie was a poorly thrown ball by the QB that you can't expect a WR to catch without a 'circus catch', if it had been thrown better Stevie make that catch................
