Sabres & NHL 2017-18 - Entry Draft on June 22
apuszczalowski replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Much easier way to fix it, your team doesn't get an outdoor game then. If they want to hold one in NY and include the Rangers, it's against the Islanders (who at least have NY in their name) or the devils who are at least closer then Buffalo and NY City. Is next year game going to be the Huricanes playing a home game in Fenway against the Bruins? Pissed about that one too, i would have won some money had the Devils won.... -
Elway: Upgrading QB is the Broncos' Top Goal
apuszczalowski replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Remember when Elway was such a great GM and QB evaluator? Seems like his approach was to throw a bunch of crap at the wall and see if any of it sticks...... -
When Cinci scored. What happened?
apuszczalowski replied to TC in St. Louis's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
What happened? The Bengals celebrated........ They kicked the extra point then lined up and kicked the ball back to the Ravens who were unable to score again giving them the victory. There was a lot of celebrating in the visitors locker room in Miami and in Buffalo. Probably a lot of tantrums and frustration in Baltimore I would assume..... -
Rumored Gillette Stadium Antics

That's the best part about Pats fans, you know when you see one that there's a 95% chance that they have only been following football for less than 20 years..... -

But he just left the team just over a week ago. He may have said that stuff in 2004, but it doesn't mean he thinks differently today...... -

This all makes sense now Patriots beat the Steelers because of the league and ref being in their back pockets. Very good chance the Steelers and Pats meet each other in the finals to get to the SB. Harrison is older and not being used as much on the field, they fake some riff between him and the team and cut him right after that game, knowing the BB would sign him and try to get Intel out of him for their next game. Harrison is actually secretly working still for the Steelers gathering inside info on the franchise and leaking it back to the Steelers who will use it against them and eventually expose their corrupt organisation leading to a huge takedown. It's genius, hopefully his cover doesn't get blown. Better start joining the team for the anthem instead of standing by himself... -
Breaking: Ted Thompson Out as Packers' GM
apuszczalowski replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah, i dont see the hatred either, they actually seem to be more respected for their team, community and fans. Im sure its different in Minny, Detroit, and Chicago though, but everywhere else i dont think i have ever heard anyone talk badly about them or want to see them lose. They seem to be the team that wins but does it fairly and respectfully, unlike NE who win at whatever cost...... -
Actually, the Bills might not matchup well against the jags. Bills strength on defence is their secondary, the run defence isn't strong. Jacksonville is a run first team with Blake Bortles at QB. Jacksonville has one of the best defences and the Bills have a weak offence that took a huge hit with a not 100% McCoy Still possible to squeak out a win though. KC seems to have gotten back to where they were early in the year so they wouldn't be an easy win either

Who needs a DD? I doubt anyone in the city is going home tonight, maybe not all week, Buffalo will be lucky if there are any buildings still standing this week when Bills fans are done. Between the fans excited for the playoffs, and the others wanting Beane and McD's heads because they wasted a chance to Get a better draft pick spot, there going to be little standing....... All those poor tables, Buffalos ERs better have their burn units on standby

Is don't believe firing them for a mistake is fair, but disciplining them or making them accountable for blowing an easy call they should have made would be something to look into. The refs made the correct call on the field in both the Pittsburgh and Bills games on those catches. The problem was the replay booth making assumptions and making their own rules to overturn the calls on the field since neither replay showed enough evidence to overturn the calls on the field like their replay rules require

Remember watching him when i was growing up. My parents always watched channel 7 news because the weather was the most accurate for us instead of the Toronto news casts

Isn't that a typical december weekend in Buffalo? (According to the rest of the country) Or an average June weekend in Canada.....

Would he have to go through waivers if he is forced to be released? If not he would just re sign with GB. If he had to go through waivers he would probably just retire then go there. The NFL doesn't like the Browns enough to gift them Rogers, and I doubt they want a big name like Rogers retiring too soon

I think you meant 0-15, there's always the chance one of the last weeks a team throws them a bone and rests their backups too.... -
Playoffs? Playoffs?? The Playoff Chances Thread

Watching Oakland now, they don't look like they will be an easy win for the Chargers next week. They played well against Oakland and are currently looking like they could upset the Eagles in the 4th quarter right now -

Possible return for the XFL?...
apuszczalowski replied to BillsFan130's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The big problem with the XFL was it was too closely tied to the WWE, and many assumed it was staged like WWE. Also the way it was presented was too similar to pro wrestling and trying to be to 'extreme If they want any chance of being successful, McMahon needs to be a silent investor in it, and they need to be separate from the WWE brand -
Possible return for the XFL?...
apuszczalowski replied to BillsFan130's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is not going to be a development league or a league that is going to work with the NFL to make their product better. McMahon is not getting into it to create something that is not going to be an attempt at competition to the NFL. I would bet he decided to do it now because, like his buddy I the white house says, the NFL is losing viewers. With fans upset over anthem protests and runs being made to make the players 'softer', McMahon is going to come out and provide the people that are mad or leaving exactly what they want. I would almost guarantee that the league will require all players to stand for the anthem, and they won't have rules meant to protect players, they will promote the hard hitting stuff. This will be a league that is going to take the stuff the NFL is trying to get rid of and give fans what they want. I'm sure they will also have agreements with all players that they know the risks, and can't sue from injuries suffered during games. Not a chance that McMahon is funding a developmental league, or spring NFL league. It will be an attempt to try and compete with the NFL -

ESPN predicts Alex Smith as starting Bills QB in 2018.
apuszczalowski replied to PIZ's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Good thinking, they would be a lock for 0-16 next year and the #1 overall pick which they could use to get the next great QB prospect if they followed your plan.....
