13 victims found shackled in California home
apuszczalowski replied to /dev/null's topic in Off the Wall Archives
I think it has more to do with the health conditions of all the kids and no one noticing them looking unhealthy or that they have been shackled up at home. Did it say they traveled with their kids? -
Fast-Forward to 2018, Case Keenum
apuszczalowski replied to CountryCletus's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That's my point, he played good and has played good all season, but the win wasn't all him, and the last play was not some play that was made because of him and his skill. It's more likely the ball was overthrown and the WR was able to get up and make the catch all while the defender messed up and took out his teammate. -
And it required an illegal lateral to do it though. There was nothing illegal or overlooked in that final play...

Your right, cause he also caused the DB to miss and take out his own player allowing the WR to walk into the end zone. Guess Blake Bortles also won the game for the Jags last week too, not their defence..... -

So the fans could hate him anyways and they could have the satisfaction of getting to see him fired instead of leaving on his own. -

I don't know if I would say Keenum won them the game. His WR came down with a very high pass (in Buffalo that pass sails over the WR and we are all screaming at the QB for not being able to hit passes to the WR) and if it wasn't for the DB whiffing on the tackle and taking out his own guy they are forced to go for a FG to win it IF the WR isn't tackled inbounds. If not we are talking about Brees and the Saints coming back from being down 17-0 at halftime...... -
I disagree, the Saints just screwed up and it cost them. They werent screwed by the Refs or a review. Had he stepped on the white of the sideline while going to the end zone or a knee grazed the ground after a saints player tried talking him, I would say it's similar. This was just a blown play by the defence allowing the Vikes to win it.

Just Bills fans still being bitter about not getting to be the dumper instead of the one being dumped. Fans wanted him run out of town and hated him before he left. He used an option in his contract that allowed him an out with a nice chunk of cash and he did what was best for him and his family. Whether you believe that he did it for the Jets job, he still landed on his feet and in a better situation then the Jets. I'm sure no Bills fan has ever left a job for something different or for money....... -

I haven't seen anyone say things bad about Keenum , many want him here next year. Most would agree that he played well -

Doubt it, most of the tickets for the game are already sold to people who don't care what team is in it and just want to be there. -
The Pats needed the refs to gift them a call at the end of the game to beat the Steelers a few weeks ago. The Jags beat the Steelers twice in Pittsburgh this year. Don't count the Pats in the SB just yet, Marrone and Bortles may be heading to Minny in a couple weeks.....

Who's saying any of this? I wouldn't say Keenum is great though, not until we atleast see if he can continue this for more then one season on a pretty stacked team -

Guess it jusy proves that you must have an elite QB in the NFL -

Either NFC team or the Jags. Would be funny to see the Jags win Either way I have a Jersey for both NFC teams I can wear for the Super Bowl (Harvin Vikes or Shady Eagles) -

If anything this game shows what good receivers can do. That throw goes incomplete in Buffalo, good WRs can go up and bring in throws that aren't right to them. (Even those weren't getting caught in Buffalo) -
Saints loss and fundamental football
apuszczalowski replied to oldmanfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think it was more of move to prevent hitting him early and taking a PI penalty. The timing of the hit was off. -
Trying not to hit him and take a PI penalty I would guess....

The Giants and Colts may be looking for QB's (if their GMs are smart) but I don't think they are taking one in the top 10 this year. If luck is 100%, they still have time to use their top picks for other needs and find a later round guy, the Giants could do the same if they feel Manning has another 2 years left. No reason to take one high now if they are not going to start, they have too many other needs right now.

Cordy Glenn for Andy Dalton
apuszczalowski replied to uticaclub's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Dalton is on his last legs? Where is that coming from? What does it tell you about Garapollo that the Pats were willing to deal him with Brady in his 40s? And no other backup on the roster at that time? -
Cordy Glenn for Andy Dalton
apuszczalowski replied to uticaclub's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
There's maybe one person here that said they want him, almost everyone else said it's more likely you would be able to get him then Dalton straight up for Glenn But as for AJ, who knows what he could end up being, Dalton was a high draft pick who has solidified himself as their starter, almost all teams aren't going to just switch from that unless they had to and Dalton hasn't been bad enough to make them think of making a change. It's not like people are arguing for the Bills to trade for Blake Bortles backup......
