I agree on Reilly, many here think he is something special because of a few preseason games but there always seems to be that guy that fans fall in love with from preseason and the PS that they think the front office is mistaken by not playing them. As for Hogan, go back and look at his time here. Fans started to change their mind a little bit about him in his final year here, but he was one of the whopping boys that many wanted run out and gone. Then he goes to NE and Brady throws to him and he was another one of the 'players we foolishly gave away'.

Peterman will never live down the 5-pick half . . .
apuszczalowski replied to Dr. K's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He may live it down if he becomes a viable starting QB in the league, but that's going to take showing in regular season games that he can be a starter in the NFL, not because he looked good on some drives in the preseason. -
Actually, that's wrong, the majority of this place couldn't wait to run Hogan out of town and he was routinely a whipping boy around here. As for Reilly, theres always one PS guy that everyone seems to think is going to be a superstar and the Bill's will regret letting go. There was that WR a few years ago who went to Indy and I believe is now in the CFL. There was that running back William's who may have eaten and smoked his way out. Our last tremendous talent that was going to wreak havoc with NE once he left and be a thorn I our side for years, Gillislee, may be out of work after one season in NE where he was left glued to the bench. If NE and BB thought he was some hidden gem tremendous talent, why wouldn't they have already swiped him off the PS when they had the chance?

New Darien Lake Ride announcement - Aug 30th
apuszczalowski replied to wagon127's topic in Off the Wall Archives
I thought Darrien Lake was already a Six Flags park? -
If you want elite talent, you are going to have to pay Elite prices for it. The Raiders don't have to trade him, and it doesn't matter to them that you have to give him a huge contract He is one of the top defensive players in the league and they aren't going to give him away for nothing right now just because he will sit out. And people always seem to get confuse when they see it, this is just their asking price, why would a teams asking price not be higher then most would be willing to pay? You are always going to ask for more then what you will most likely be willing to accept later on. They ask for 2 1sts not, then someone negotiates and gets him for a 1st & a 2nd, or 1st & 2-3rds, etc. Or a team comes along and says they can give up 2 1sts because they want him. I believe that came from the Raiders themselves, or a "source close to the Raiders"

Yeah, Mike seems to be the kind of guy right now with Morals who wont do anything unless the other deserves it. He isnt in it to get rich or just to do it, like Jimmy, he has to believe that he is doing something to right a wrong

Yeah, she probably wouldn't thinks its fancy enough like hardwood or real carpeting.......

New Darien Lake Ride announcement - Aug 30th
apuszczalowski replied to wagon127's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Well Canadas Wonderland in Toronto just made an announcement last week and are building a new Massive coaster, maybe Darrien Lake wants to challenge them? -
Did you ever see what they would want for it, you could redo the flooring in your living room with it....

As for last nights episode, it did seem slow/meaningless, but usually those are the episodes that set up things in future episodes. That after you finish the season you look back and realize the episode had more to it then you first thought. The scenes where they took out the gang, and Jimmy at work by himself were a bit unbelievable/ far from reality. The fact that they called him very early in the morning to give him the job and have him start right away seemed unbelievable, then they have him running the store by himself on the first day. Although we aren't sure what he said to them to get the job, maybe he conned them into believing he had lots of experience with cell phones and managing a business? Also seemed like the store was never a busy location, it could be one all their new employees start out at because its not busy? The scene with Mike in the meeting, that also seemed more like rage then sadness coming over him. He was emotional because his daughter in law is saying that she is starting to let go of his son and isn't constantly thinking of him. That hurts him because he probably thinks about his son all the time and she seems like she is starting to move on from him. Then the group leader tells her that thats progress, and then the other guy starts telling a story that he believes is made up to help her which pushes him over the edge. I wonder if Mikes turning point is going to come by his Daughter in law continuing to move on from his son? The end seen was also important as he stood up to Gus and sets up next episode that will most likely have him doing some personal work for him. As for Kim, She is definitely at that point where she is searching inside herself as to what her true calling is and what she wants to keep doing. Seeing the aggressive expansion plans dropped in her lap last episode scarred her most likely because she knew that the work she just did for them took a toll on her already and was more then she could handle alone, now these plans are going to have her working even more. She goes to the court room to sit and watch and try to see if she could re-ignite her spark or figure out if its what she wants to do. As for Jimmy, there really wasn't much for him except that he takes the job which leads to his next scam, selling burner cell phones to dealers......

Thats sort of what the Judge was referring to with her, he didn't want her using his court room as a way to try and spark her interest back into being a lawyer.\He pretty much told her, just stick with what you are doing, make lots of money. It happens alot today with people in all different jobs. The got into something because it was something they loved, but after doing it for a while they start losing that spark and either fight to try and regain it, or move on to find something else

So I guess last night in TO, a former pro wrestler, Jason Sensation I believe, tweeted that he got a gun into the building through security and was going to Kill himself in the crowd during the show. Police and security checked the building. Former WCW & WWE Eric Bishoff later found out he wasn't even in Toronto and the tweet was just a joke when he contacted him. Apparently he has been suffering from depression and just thought it would be a funny joke.

Peterman Cumulative Preseason Stats
apuszczalowski replied to The Bills Blog's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The defending Super Bowl Champ Eagles lost 5-0 against the 1-31 Browns in their 3rd Preseason game this year, their fans must be burning the City down as they end up winless this year..... -
What areas of the team has Beane actually improved?
apuszczalowski replied to Yeezus's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Age? The team is Younger now IIRC Lets wait to see what they look like when the results matter. The Superbowl Champs were shut out by the Browns in a 5-0 game this week. Lets not judge this team off of some preseason football. Its not like good teams have never looked bad in preseason, and bad teams ever looked really good in the preseason (Its been the only place the Browns have gotten wins the last few seasons) -

But you can't count those, he isn't throwing them anymore when playing against defences that aren't game planning for him or the offence in meaningless games where most teams main focus is just watching what players do in game sitautions..... -
Billy Buffalo's New Look
apuszczalowski replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Hes a mascot, something to run around for the kids. Does any teams "guy in a cartoonish costume" really strike fear or intimidate anyone? The fans can't blame this on Russ anymore....... Is the blue they used lighter then their normal blue? Could this be the front office looking to lighten up the blue of the team and change the uniforms again? -
Groy & Bodine = $4.6 mil in salary cap at center

If he was ranked 28th, he was atleast starting caliber, and not the worst Not much else can be done with Woods sudden retirement -
Peterman Cumulative Preseason Stats
apuszczalowski replied to The Bills Blog's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
But he isn't throwing picks in the preseason, and if you take away the bad games (or parts of games) he is a tremendous talent that can carry a team until the other guy is ready Its not like there is a difference between regular season and preseason, he will look just as great once teams cater their defence to him and actually gameplan..... The only difference that I can see in the offence between him and Taylor is that Peterman might complete the occasional pass for the first down that Taylor would have completed using his legs. The offence still seems to struggle to keep drives alive and score points..... -
How many years has it been that everyone has looked at the Browns after their offseason and said how they are going to be good and then they end up just being the Browns?

Isnt blitz and overloads the 'vanilla' stuff in a Greg William's defence?

Animal Kingdom season finale
apuszczalowski replied to RochesterRob's topic in Off the Wall Archives
I'm confused, I thought this was going to be a discussion on the show about Animals. I didnt think they did season finales for the animal show. Would they have a cliff hanger showing a lion stalking an antelope and then end the season right before the lion pounces, or the camera would zoom out and you would see a bigger animal in the shadows behind ready to take out the lion? For a series finale they could always show a bunch of animals around a watering hole with the song "The Lion Sleeps Tonight" playing and then cut to darkness when one of the animals looks up....
