  1. i said LIKE 12 look at the post. and i said 7 cb's if one or two double as a safety. look, you're wrong and that's that. you should admit it. can you reach your keyboard from your knees?
  2. i said LIKE 12 dbs, which clearly means similar to but not exactly. also, you called my claim a gross exaggeration, which is gross in itself. lastly, your terrible initial post was in response to me saying that we could keep 7 cbs if one or two can double as a safety. clearly we can as that will not preclude having enough D linemen. admit you are wrong and i am right.
  3. ANYONE WHO DOESN'T THROW THEMSELVES ON A GERNADE IS A DESERTER!!!!!111111111ONEONEONE
  4. some of you guys make me laugh! just cuz this guy enrolled at army doesn't mean he absolutely has to storm bunkers all day overseas -- if they guys go pro then he has every damn right to take them up on that if an nfl team will take him on. as far as the initial question starting this thread -- i think that's a good one. if i were the gm it would have absolutely zero impact on my decision. if i thought another player (who i can also get as an undrafted FA) out there was even a little bit better for my team i wouldn't hesistate to cut the army kid. fans buy tickets to see the best team possible, and that's the ethics a gm must follow.
  5. NE had 8 active DBs, a WR they played at DB, and one not active. 10 that's 10 dbs us having 7 isn't that many, and we have 8 D line. ADMIT YOU ARE WRONG AND I AM RIGHT ADMIT IT.
  6. just being out there and catching one td all year will help our goal line o a bunch.
  7. NE won 2 SBs with like 12 dbs on the roster. ZOMG ONLY HAVE TEH LINEMEN, 13 GUARDS OR MORE!!! ZOMG!!!! if we have 7 cbs one can double as a back upsafety. once ne lines up 4 or 5 wide for the first time we'll be very happy we "wasted" picks on guys like corner.
  8. a big azz TE like that and big WR really do throw all kinds of problems at opposing Ds. we were friggen smurfs out there last year, and we had royal who is a physical stud but gets stone hands at just the worst times! if we stack up like that, and put viti in there, we can boom and mash, do the little outlet pass to m'shawn, fullback dive, iso, or throw a go up and get it to one of our trees. hell, trent could keep it and mash it in too. i honestly think we can grind teams down, dominate special teams, bring the pain on D, and win a bunch of games out physicallying teams in the red zone.
  9. i'm getting pumped!! i'll be walking around town throwing up chest kicks soon!!
  10. bill, you're gonna come around at some point! i'm gonna see you at calico jack's w a whitner jersey on.
  11. you know, even if we don't do any better on O (which is virtually impossible, but even if) we have kick ass special teams and D now. that and a great running back (and physical o line) give us a good shot at just punching guys in the face all day and coming ahead a winner.
  12. college is supposed to be higher education, not universal bullsh1t. all the sub morons going to school to party and "study" garbage like history and gay studies for 12 hours a week for 4 years is a tragic waste of time and money. of course many do this because a degree has become sort of a minimum requirement for many jobs.
  13. who said i was talking about you?!?! YOU'RE NOT THE ONLY BILL ON EARTH YOU EGOMANIAC!!!!
  14. hmmm, that was the guy who backed up robert smith at minni!! can't remember his name, on the tip of my tounge tho!!
  15. seems like a no brainer to me -- pro football or go to war? it takes a special kind of player hater to dislike a kid who swapped a low paying and often thankless job for a shot at big time, especially when it is for your favorite team!
  16. QUICK, TRADE TRAVIS HENRY FOR HIM!!! BILL SAID WE ARE ALL GOING TO DIE IF WE DON'T SIGN HIM!!
  17. you posted an insane sitting by yourself in a train car talking type thread titled something about how our pass d isn't improving enough. yes, you tried to imply that a passrusher rook would have helped more, but that's wrong and insane. you also posted about how no rook could play MLB but that's lulzy since like 7 of the past 9 ROY on D are LBs, many in the middle.
  18. if he busts we are stuck where we are right now on O. i think he'll be perfect for us. he'll catch little throws (for 5-12 yards instead of the 1-4 we got from gains all the time) and be a threat over the top of LBs. once in the red zone he'll be great for us. frankly that was our big problem. evans and lynch are monsters in the middle of the pitch, but in the redzone you front evans and put 8 in the box to stop marshawn. with a big wr you have a guy trent can always see and throw a nice no INT possible ball to.
  19. our d is gonna pwn. we have an outside at the division!
  20. hey PG, can you post something long and utterly insane about how the best CB in the nation won't be able to help our pass D? thanks, i'll hang up and listen.
  21. the pats are sub human homos and their fans are some of the biggest wang gobbling front running baseball fairweather scumbag fake irish fat heads ever. i really really think we can beat the faketriots this year. if we go to spew england and mash them up with our new super charged D i will grab my buddy (who having lived in boston for some formative years is a pats fan) put him in a kick boxing clinch and knee his face until the teeth come out of the back of my legs. this is not done to hurt, but to help him. only by showing him the contrast of the "pain" of watching his garbage team not win against the real PAIN of 20 or 30 minutes of constant hard knees to the dome will he be able to break free from the gay cheater demons that have soiled his soul and be ready to stop himself on his path to damnation. if the knees aren't enough i'll have to improvise.
  22. if trent comes on and shows he can be the man, then we kick ass this year. that's really what it comes down too -- we need more weapons on O, and i could go for an upgrade at FS, maybe some more interior blocking, but really we have tons of guys in place now. we need the young kid to come on strong.
  23. he's an absolute shut down corner. that said, the way to make an IMMEDAIT impact is in the return game. if he cracks 2 or 3 open for TDs he will get his credit. we now have 3 guys who can bring the ball back all the way. i think (hope) we will be recieving fewer kicks and way more punts, so to keep roscoe fresh mclovin will need to take a couple.
  24. played in a pretty aggressive O there. he is a real athlete too. i think he has a shot.
  25. if he can line up as an endzone TE along with hardy and fine we have some new trees to go up and get the ball!
