how the hell do you guys have a problem with who they are gonna put at guard to start training camp? do you really think they won't see if hanggartner at G and wood at C makes more sense? jesus you guys like to panic.

so on 3rd and long we have aaron and maybin rushing on the edges, and have youboty, mclovin, mcgee, corner, donte, and byrd in coverage. you guys realize that nickle and dime account for over half of 3rd downs and like 40% of all plays, right?

where would brown play for us? behind aaron and maybin? he's another little guy who won't be good against the run, and he has very very limited moves. we also have denney kelsey and ellis. i thought an OLB would make sense, but if they think there is a guy in FA who will match sintim then they don't bother with sintim, and i'm pretty sure they think any tackle on the board is no better than bell

every report says he is teh fastest, most sudden, and has the most natural pass rush talent.\ they also say he is tough and durable. if he rotates in with our 5 other ends and rushes the passer, this is a great thing. i wonder if some of you even like football.

maybin clearly needs to grow into being an nfl DE. only one thing matters afaic --- can he pressure the passer right now with natural disruptive ability? if he can, then he is totally worth a 1st round pick for our bills. we just have to throw him in on 3rd downs, rotate our DEs to keep them fresh and just run a track meet towards the QB. the single thing we had the biggest problem with was rushing the passer. if we get just a bit more pressure on 3rd downs on a consistent basis, we get more sacks, fumbles, and interceptions. that will make our entire team much better. that's more possessions, d plays less snaps, and we force more punts when we have our opponents backed up -- with our kicking game that will result in points. so i dunno if it is ayers, orakpo, maybin, brown, or whoever, but we need to get a pass rusher who can make an impact on 3rd and obvious passing downs out the gate.

personally i want a pass rusher and pettigrew, then some interior blockers in the draft. and an OLB in the first 4 rounds would be nice. that said, if they really think one guy is an all world guy, then i'll take him. peters in 07 was great for us, in 08 he was a quitter and worthless. i know andre smith has all kinds of red flags and looks fat and horrible, but he is rising lately and many guys out there think he is a john ogden type talent (with questions, but still). i'd rather not trade up, but if it just costs a 3rd or 4th and more cash then it's not so big a deal.

that OLB from OSU looks like a great fit for us -- might even be there in the 3rd.

i watched (from the post on buffalo bills.com forums) the replays of peters vs porter. he got destroyed on more than 1 sack. he also let up a sack, and that other sack for a safety in miami against a 3 man rush. he has talent but his play for us was not that good.

last game of the year we ran all over 9 in the box w no passing threat against NE, and we it w/o marshawn or peters.
