I like how AFTER we beat the chargers everyone screams at people for not calling us contenders BEFORE....I mean wtf is wrong with you? The most encouraging thing I saw from TE today was the 12 yard run on 3rd and 7. I haven't seen much of Trent taking off up the middle prior. He saw the hole immediately, knew he could get the 1st and knew to slide after he did. Heads-up, great play to keep the drive alive.

Having a guy that is good for 35-50 all purpose yards every game that is a GREAT blocker, both downfield and in the backfield(not to mention a good ST player), is a true asset. Good things happen for the Bills when Fred Jackson is on the field, simple as that.

Honestly, I think it's really all about what Chargers team shows up. If they're firing on all cylinders we'll have to be really lucky to have a chance. Thankfully there are tons of exterior factors that could result in a flat showing from the Chargers(Like in Miami). In that case, keeping it close until the 4th and putting it in Edwards hands is a recipe for success.

Really no reason to release him, either keep him in his current role or put him on IR. In either case, trade him in the off-season for a late round pick or as icing in another deal.

Skip Clueless is the stupidest person on TV talking about sports, easily worse than Kornheiser . He knows very little about a lot of sports and I instantly change the channel whenever I see him on ESPN or ESPN2.

I think after 10 years of constant rebuilding, we as fans have been hypnotized by it. We have a team that clearly is on the rise and should develop into a serious threat in the next 1-3 years. Going for TG is a serious move by the FO to show we're ready to make a run in the next year or so. GET 'EM
