  1. Houston has got to be the worst, I don't think theres many Bills fans that would trade QB rosters with them so theres no way the Bills are the worst...and I'm among the most serious of EJ doubters. Honestly, the only roster I would swap with would be Cleveland...Hoyer showed more than EJ did in a shorter time and J. Football has more upside than either of our guys.
  2. As a fan whose first bills memory is wide right, hasn't missed a game since and hasn't said "this is the year" since bledsoe, moulds, spikes, milloy......THIS IS THE YEAR BOYS!
  3. has little to no bearing on his ability to play football unless you want to cut him based on some moral position in which case you're delusional, the only difference between dareus and most other young NFL stars is hes dumb enough to get caught. cutting him DOES NOT make our football team better even from a locker room perspective, in my opinion the team would do well with a veteran presence, somebody like ed reed...
  4. I know its not a popular opinion but IDGAF and I think he can play fine smoking pot and street racing.
  5. Do you really think the multi billion dollar company called the washington redskins would choose to name and pursue an enterprise that has a deragotory name? If the name was truly offensive, how many fans would they have? How many seats would they sell? If it was the Washington spics, kikes, !@#$s, retards, etc...nobody would show up or support the team regardless of their race or ethnicity....The people who still did support them would just be attention seekers and psychos that nobody would want to be associated with. This is obviously not the case with the Redskins, whose native american fans grossly outnumber the number of native americans actually offended by the team.
  6. ummm byrd is going to make the list without a doubt...I bet hes top 25 even.
  7. I bet it plays well to female/non-traditional demographic. Is there really that much info you're trying to ingest that an extra 10 minutes of buffer is a big deal? Like others have said, every 5 minutes there updating you on what color johnny footballs underwear is I'm happy whenever they bring me somethign new...even if it is just some liberal fodder.
  8. Distractions? How about get used to it...I'm sick of the sentiment among fans that these grown men somehow need to be babied or protected from reality. You know what they do after practice? They load up their SUV's with their boys and some hookers, paint the town with booze and blow and then practice the next morning. It's kind of like the idea of not having two QB's on your roster to avoid hurting anyones confidence...give me a break....if youre a multimillion dollar human thorobred, you should have no problem being in a stable full of them. If it were me, and thankfull its not, any QB/WR that gets flustered because I sign another one instantly outs themselves as weak minded and unfit for professional football.
  9. Haven't posted on TBD for several years...though haven't missed a single game over that time. Having lost faith in the organization I disconnected myself a bit from the front office and really debating or analysing the merit of their actions Also shortly before that time I moved to goergia for college, I now watch and attend more SEC/ACC football than I do NFL and I can tell you straight up Mr. Watkins is a special player. It wont matter who the QB or coach is, he will perform and produce. Mark it now, he IS the best Bills WR since Andre Reed and could be better with similar help. Perhaps to help the above confusion with the idea of losing/gaining a first pick. From a business perspective, you look at it in the following way: You enter the deal with (2) first and fourth round picks each between this year and next. You exit the deal with (1) first round pick and (1) fourth round pick between this year and next. You are giving up 2 picks total, which averages to 1 pick per year. I don't offer this as an argument for the watkins trade...when it comes to football I accept that I'm an idiot. This is is just the "business end" of the deal, for all the armchair GMs. Anyways, I don't think EJ is "the guy" which makes losing next years first a truly gut wrenching gamble. I look at it this way, the rest of our team looks very good on both sides of the ball, when you compare it to rosters around the league it is without a doubt a playoff team with a big question mark at QB. I then ask myself what this offense would do with guys like Chad Henne, Matt Cassell, Kyle Orton, Alex Smith...again I think we make the playoffs. With all of that in mind, if EJ is not at least average, we can certainly improve the position without a first round pick. Not ideal, but at this point the deck is so stacked we are not living and dying with EJ anymore.
  10. The fact that you can type "Wrong." with such conviction in the face of every NFL coach/personnel guy's belief that WR is among the hardest positions to transition into from college is very indicative of your lack of football knowledge.
  11. In my perfect world we'll look impressive in losing the remainder of our games except an absolute trouncing of the Pats.
  12. Absolutely. Fitz is a starting QB that just lacks the physical gifts, prototype for a great backup.
  13. Lynch belongs behind zone blockers - something I can't imagine our line handling at this point in their development. If Shanahan doesn't land in Buffalo and Lynch goes elsewhere, it will be a zone blocking team.
  14. Dudes a linebacker, looks like a high school kid lining up at DE.
  15. I did not mean to disparage, hes a solid nickel and will look even better with McGee/McKelvin on the field.
  16. Along with the "Why Ryen Fitzpatrik will be a star" melodies.
  17. Great, if were lucky he can be the next Frank Reich.
  18. 1 good game and hes already drawing comparisons to Jesus....are we seriously that starved of quality football?
  19. I'm in the camp that knows you need 2 quality backs to sustain a running game these days and I believe Jackson/Lynch are a serviceable duo - however the fact that Freddy is seeing a lot more playing time with Fewell at the reigns is an indication of what the current staff thinks of each.
  20. .............................................................I'm used to the weather on TBD changing with every single win/loss but this is going too far.
  21. With all due respect the bomb was a Fitz audible that I'm willing to bet the coaching staff was not happy about. I agree with the sentiment though, great win!
  22. Umm...I'm pretty sure there were dozens of posts condemning all of those guys and their screw-ups. Either you have a very poor memory of you're one of those that likes to ignore reality if it helps make your post seem more clever.
  23. We should trade Byrd while his stock is high and move Maybin to FS
  24. I'm sorry but you can't gameplan CJ out of a game...lol. Hes the hottest RB in the league right now and we have a poor run defense, do you expect the staff to concoct a magical run stopping serum? Why didn't the last teams he trounced over "gameplan" and "key in" on him? We don't have the talent to contain someone like CJ, very few teams do.
