similar to this idea, I noticed that the Jags defenders were noticeably taking it to the Pats - through the whistle contact, jaw jacking, not backing down - in the first half. I've been waiting to see that from the Bills for 15 years against that team. We always seem awestruck. Hit em, push em around, give a little extra teabag now and again.

Pretty sure Darby was not viewed as a good scheme fit here. Good for him, and all ex Bills that are no longer on the roster and doing well. Just because they are doing well doesn't mean it wasn't the right move. The constant gnashing of teeth over guys that are no longer here is tiresome (and pointless).

I'm glad Shady is upset. The fans can be "satisfied" with the playoffs this year. There's no shame in that for us. But Shady burns for something much higher. During the game I heard them quote his updated career goals... they included 12k and a ring - and he wants to do it in Buffalo. Freaking awesome. I hope his teammates feel the same as he does. I didn't like Shady when he was in Philly, but he has quickly endeared himself to me. He's in my top 10 favorite all time Bills - maybe even top 5. The expectations change next year, and it should be a fun ride!

Neither is mine. This game was just fresh. He still appears to have plenty o gas in the tank for another solid year. It's more likely a question of whether he would rather spend time with the family and begin life outside of the NFL.
