  1. just wondering out loud here... If there are high level Bills execs that peruse this board, how is it that Dunkirk Don has not been outed and the source of his inside info dried up? The sheer volume of supposed inside info makes me HIGHLY skeptical of DD.
  2. Time to go Amish hunting
  3. The major's Tyrod hate is shining through.
  4. Primary job. Better? Fans aren't paid to officiate games. He was. I could clearly see Tyrods head snap backwards in real time on my TV. Boger should have seen it, and flagged it.
  5. This is why the officials are on the field, feet from the players, and watching the game in 3 dimensions, at 1:1 scale - and not sitting on a living room couch watching the game on a 55" flat screen. Just because a fan watching the game on tv may not have seen it in real time, doesn't mean that the ref who's sole job on the play is to watch the QB shouldn't have.
  6. ...add in that the play should have been blown dead because Suh was well on his way into the backfield by the time the ball was snapped...
  7. It doesn't have to be intentional for a flag to be thrown. How many times have we seen flags for inadvertent contact with Brady's helmet by a pass rusher with his arms up trying to block a pass? For further league discipline, I think intent would need to be shown. For what it's worth, I believe it was intentional. One of Suh's typical bush league plays. Guy is a scumbag.
  8. No, in that scenario they would still need Tennessee to lose to Jacksonville
  9. Hey, I certainly hope so. By the time the Bills are built into a perennial power, Kyle will likely be retired. I think he has the makings of a great positional coach, should he choose to do that. It would be great to have him around as a coach for those great times, if he isn't around as a player.
  10. Yeah, as a coach!
  11. I actually thought they were a little more aggressive than usual in the third quarter, looking for the knockout punch with several deep throws and going for the 4th down. Execution just want there.
  12. Who is that masked OP? I don't recognize him!
  13. Jay Feely with the homer broadcast. I felt like I was watching a Miami feed.
  14. Writer/ singer of the annoying earworm Cellino and Barnes jingle.
  15. Me too. So often a friend will try to comfort and say "I wish they would live forever". Whenever someone says that it makes me think. I'm glad they don't live forever - that's what gives so much value to every moment. The early morning kisses, the late night chin scratches, spit soaked tennis balls, and chewed up remote controls... they would mean nothing if they were guaranteed life. Whatever the outcome Mike (And I hope you get more time with Bear), the memories of the good times and unconditional love will sustain you. There will never be another Bear, this is true... but when the time is right, open your heart to another sweet soul to share life with. Life is always better with a dog.
  16. It matters if he ends up busting, though.
  17. No possibility of some kind of issue / infection in his mouth / teeth? Did you get a full blood panel workup done?
  18. Thank you, monsieur commish
  19. What the heck are the tiebreaking procedures?
  20. This post made be (literally) laugh out loud. I remember reading JSPs posts from when I first joined. I always thought "damn, this guy needs to smile once in a while and stop being so bitter and such a negative Nancy".
  21. Yeah, that sounds bad. I was mostly responding to 3rd's idea that Shaver could have been cuffed without the crawling thing. Tactically moving Shaver away from the door, was the correct move. Having him crawl would make it much more difficult to draw, and then accurately fire at the officers if that was actually his intention. This should have, in my opinion, allowed the officers to give a bit more grace when he reached for his pants. I would think they would have had plenty of time to see the gun in his hand, and then fire before he could fire at them - since they already had their sights on him.
  22. No, that isn't the way this should be handled. He was dealing with a possibly armed suspect, and the protocol is to bring the person to you and cuff under cover, in either a kneeling or prone position. You aren't going to go to him, in case a person comes out of the room with a gun. Those would be very poor tactics. His verbal commands and condescension exacerbated the situation, seemingly causing more stress in Shaver. He probably needed to be more calm and direct with his commands. Tactically, it was handled correctly (in my opinion) except for the part where he shot Shaver. Manslaughter would have been a fair verdict, it seems. But, still a high burden in court to reach that.
  23. Is it even feasible to slide in those 10 inch snow drifts? Serious question
  24. No, it isn't justice. In no way, shape, or form is what Dorner did justice.
