Am really surprised by this tweet. Good for her actually being decent. -

Was going to give the post the "awesome" emoji, but then got to the part that you're quitting this place. Hope you reconsider leaving; you're a good poster. Maybe when all the lockdowns have subsided you'll come back. Hope so. -
Would explain 45 venting his spleen at the last campaign stop. He'd know if they're actually ready to start handing out indictments. And as big of a jerk he tends to be at times, until the last batch of Flynn releases & the Ratcliffe letter to Graham he's been really pretty much silent on how the IC community hosed him & his campaign. He's been pretty good at only making accusations that are about to be proven true. So, hoping that's the case here. But will believe it when we see it.

What have the Democrats done in the past Four years

More like female versions of Rob Reiner. At least DeNiro has talent. -
2020 Election is officially Trump vs Biden
Taro T replied to transplantbillsfan's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
If everything were on the up & up, do expect 45 to be reelected. But absolutely don't doubt that at minimum Nevada & PA will be stolen. WI (which my expectation would go 45 after Kenosha) & MN (which actually might go 45 in a fair election) will have shenanigans as well. It only takes a couple more like AZ and pretty soon, the former VP "wins." -
The Media's Portrayal of Trump and His Presidency
Taro T replied to Nanker's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Do these ####ing morons HONESTLY believe that 55's position condemning these hate groups is something he's flipped away from? How many ####ing times will be enough? And, for the love of all that's good & holy, can just 1 of them ask the former VP to condemn Antifa & other anarchist & communist sympathizing groups with at least 1/10th the fervor that they chase 45 on the flip side of the issue? -
100%. But, speaking of Gregory, who was awful as the moderator on MtP, he's the guy that had Pelosi say the Catholic Church has no position on when life begins AND that natural gas is not a fossil fuel. Too bad he didn't follow up on either as her explanations would've been doozies.

The day Tim Russert died so, pretty much, did mainstream journalism. And it's frustrating as heck as politicians are forced to come up with better ideas when their idiocy is exposed. And the morons in the mainstream press don't realize that by scrutinizing ALL politicians, we all win. It's great that they come after Republicans hard. We'd all be better off if they came after Democrats at least 3/4's as hard. And if they'd only twist conservatives words 20% more often than they do liberals, we'd be better off as well.

Is English not your 1st language? There is a WIDE gap between not being a feminist & being submissive. You honestly don't see the contradiction between her being "submissive" and rising to a position of power that fewer than 0.000004% of American women have risen to? Assuming she is confirmed, she will be exactly the FIFTH woman EVER on the US Supreme Court.
-
Seriously? You are claiming a woman who very likely will become only the 5th woman in history to be on the Supreme Court believes women are "expected to live in 'total submission'?" Care to explain how this "submissive" woman rose to that level living the "submissive" life she apparently espouses?

Wtf is the angry emoji for this one? Absolutely awful that this SOB will lie so bald faced. Still have a copy of the order he gave. He can & will lie; hopefully people continue to call him out on that.

You don't honestly expect a follow up question, do you?
-
That makes the question even more annoying then. The response to that question and the response to the question about opposing "corporate racial sensitivity training" (aka the Marxist program of CRT) were the 2 biggest hits 45 took IMHO, because although he was on the right side of both issues he didn't come close to saying what he needed to say & for anyone watching that was getting their 1st exposure to these questions would hear pretty much the opposite of what 45 meant. Yes, he said "sure" a couple of times, which meant yes he disavows them & has done so repeatedly in the past, but it APPEARED like he didn't really want to do so. And that, IMHO, was because he wanted to talk about Antifa & couldn't keep the 2 thoughts fully clear & separate from his brain to his mouth.
-
Would agree w/ this. But, make no mistake, Biden showed 8 years ago that he'd have been talking over 45 whether 45 was playing nice or playing himself. My take is still that neither won the debate (it's hard to win a debate when you can't articulate complete thoughts & neither man can) but 45 might have lost it. Though getting Biden to tacitly admit he'll stack the SC if he can and (paraphrasing here) that Antifa is an idea and not an organization (try telling that to people who had their businesses burned down) were a couple of solid body blows.
-
Not disagreeing at all. But did you find the former Vice President calling the current President "a clown" and talking over him presidential or entertaining?
-
Can't believe it went over well w/ Pelosi, Shumer, or 44 either.

Final Vote—All States, Progress in counting
Taro T replied to Trump_is_Mentally_fit's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
But causing alarm among Democrat strategists only 11% percent of those requesting mail-in ballots were deceased. Said one anonymous strategist "if we've lost the dead, you can put a nail in our campaign's chances." -
Pretty sure he didn't say he was "the head of the Democrat party." Rather he said he IS the Democrat party.
-
Biden told some truth & some lies. That admitting he plans to pack the SC will become an issue should he ever admit it is true. That he will raise taxes is true. That Hunter's $3.5MM payment has been investigated & he's been cleared of any wrong doing is false. That he can raise taxes by $4TRILLION & not devastate the economy is false. That repealing the recent tax cuts won't increase taxes on the Middle class is false. That he doesn't support the GND is false. It's on his friggin' website. 45 is his own worst enemy at times. Absolutely. But the guy you support has been a liar ever since he entered the public arena. And his LYING is what forced him out of the presidential race the 1st time he ran.

Disappointed in Chris Wallace, though it was not unexpected. Thought 45 had 3 bad moments. Chris Wallace framed CRT as "racial sensitivity" & 45 said he was opposed to it because it was un-American (& it is), but he needed to point out that CRT goes WAY beyond sensitivity training & it is racist indoctrination. Also, thought saying he condemns the KKK would've been a slam dunk easy thing to say as he's done that many times in the past. And, he came across as angry on the question about mail in voting & waiting for an outcome. It was another item that IMHO he is on the right side of the issue but his inability to articulate a complex thought bit him on that one. Had Biden been fact checked / stopped short by the moderator more than just partially on the GND issue, expect he would've puked over himself. But he never did that. Don't believe either guy won, but 45 probably had a bit of a loss. Doesn't seem to be the board concensus; oh well.

Would prefer they didn't give him any drugs so we all can see the real Joe Bjden. But hoping they know what they're doing and don't overdose him. Betting it's going to take a lot to get him to appear coherent.

Google Glasses to the rescue. What, you haven't seen him wearing glasses before?

The Media's Portrayal of Trump and His Presidency
Taro T replied to Nanker's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
The argument here has been (and which appears to be corroborated from the discovery releases in the past few weeks) that per the FBI agents' contemporaneous notes he DIDN'T lie to the FBI. He didn't have notes about the Kislyak call when he initially spoke to the FBI agents, but they said he seemed truthful. A few edits later, Mueller's crew told him he had details wrong when he spoke to the FBI & that they were looking into charging him & his son w/ (IIRC) FARA violations; but if he'd admit to what he believed (after being told by the SCO) to have been perjury then the other charges against him & his son would go away. So, while he wasn't waterboarded, he didn't perjure himself either. And everybody that participated in lying to General Flynn should spend a LONG time behind bars thinking about how bad it is to frame someone. Not too sure about the FARA stuff, but it SEEMS that was overblown as well. -
Great Win today, we beat the Rams and the Refs.
Taro T replied to BuffaloBills1998's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
And the refs gave it back to the Bills on that 4th down pass interference. Sometimes, in the end, the calls balance out.
