Well it makes sense if JP still sucks like he did last year. Let me pose this question...If JP plays like he did last year,and shows little to no improvement will you all still support him like he's the next Brett Favre? As a lot of people do around here?

WHEN has Lee Evans been able to go over the middle, make a tough grab and get licked in the process??? HE'S not that type of receiver! He goes deep, that's what he's good at and that's what he'll do. I don't think he's capable of being the #1 target yet, and he's just about said it in his interviews recently. Can Lee Evans catch wr screen passes and shed tackles like EMO? No, he can't. Can Lee Evans LEAD and teach like EMO can? No, not yet in my opinion. People are taking this too personal..."Eric says he wants out of Buffalo...so screw him" is the majority attitude around here, well folks...nothing is written in stone...things can still be worked out, I just hope they will because I fear our beloved team will be in much worse shape with no EMO around.

I was just thinking about how important special teams are today...Like think about this for instance - What if we had an average starting position at the 20 yard line instead of the 36 which we had this last year? How would we have done then? My guess is we'd have lost 2 or 3 more games without Terrence Mcgee and all the other kamakazi special teamers. I don't think we'd have faired as well as we did at all. A lot of people on this board whine and cry because we are picking up and re-signing blue collar type players but what they fail to realize is what they truly mean to the team. As for Losman, i'm really on the fence on this subject. I don't think i'd be too upset if we let him go in a trade...He has great escapability and a superb arm, but his lack of poise and vision make me really nervous. I know he's only started half a season but from what I saw...he needs a lot of improvement. As for being a overreactor...that's definatly not me, so I cannot speak for those people but i'm sure excited to see what Marv will do in the coming weeks. I hope Marv and the Bills front office work things out with EMO so he can retire a Bill, though that may seem unlikely...I still think it's possible. GO BILLS!

Right now we have 2 extra picks, I wouldn't consider that "stockpiling" considering one of them is the 248th pick. We might trade moulds, which would bring our total pick number to 10...but i'll be praying to the good lord almighty that doesn't happen.

He's a great special teamer...and can make an occaisional grab or two when he's actually in on offense. This isn't a suprise though, I had a feeling he'd be back!

I think you have to look for progression, and as JP got 4 more starts late in the year...I really didn't see much. Some people like to point out the 3 td's in the first quarter against Miami...but what about the other 3 quarters?!? What about the 2nd New England game when he was absolutely terrible? He looks scared behind center, and lost when the ball is snapped. I just don't have a good feeling about him...I know that doesn't mean much but ehhhhh it's my opinion. 2003 Contenders - Great post!
