  1. My sentiments exactly. I was just telling my uncle that's the one team(other than KC) that I'm worried about. We have quite a bit to clean up on the defensive side of the ball before Saturday....I will say that I am MUCH more confident in our ability to contain Jackson with a healthy Milano out there....I do not see him running wild on us like he did today at Tennessee....but I suspect he will be able to get some runs in...I would LOVE it if we could put a few TD's on the board early and force him to beat us with his arm, which I do not fear a great deal. I will give him his respect as he is the reigning league MVP, but it has been proven multiple times that when forced to be a pocket passer, or win games solely with his arm, he has struggled. I am SUPREMELY confident in our offense "bouncing back" this week, particularly with Mr. Daboll's play calling, and expect Josh to absolutely light it up. Beas, Smoke, and Diggs will all be closer to 100%. Hopefully Singletary has a good week of practice and is ready to be the featured back come Saturday. I can see him being a key factor in Saturday's victory....to the tune of 18 carries, 121 yards and a TD....you heard it here first!!
  2. Agree with you 100%. The game did NOT look like a Daboll called game, and I'm sorry, but I really began to get nervous with all of the called QB runs. Yes, Josh is an added threat in the run game, but I felt like he leaned too heavily on them in a game that like you said, was ripe for Josh to attack them through the air...several of those runs were not only unnecessary, but I held my breath every time he got tackled...those defenders were clearly trying to make an example out of Allen. On that play where he fumbled, his knee came awfully close to being caught up underneath him... Hopefully Daboll got that out of his system and we see him get back on track next week...
  3. Bad news fellas....As Rivers was throwing the hail mary, my heart gave out, and I collapsed on my living room floor. The EMT's were on the scene in minutes. Unfortunately, in spite of their heroic efforts, it was too late. I was pronounced dead at 4:12pm ET. The good news is they have digital cable and WiFi up here, so next week I'll literally cheering with y'all...IN SPIRIT!!! LET'S GO BUFFALO!!!! BRING ON WHOEVER!!! 🥳🥳👍
  4. Awesome write-up Virgil. Spot on on damn near everything you said.
  5. God I'm almost tempted to go on to Twitter and ask him if he'd like to re-analyze his grade, but I'm sure he's getting plenty of tweets about this already..... On second thought, brb...
  6. agree 1000%. That beatdown of the Dolphins was a message to the entire league, "Here comes Buffalo." Yes, I'm still riding the wave of euphoria, but I'm also still able to look at the match up objectively, and Buffalo should win this game by double digits. Never in a season, heading into the playoffs,, have I been able to say to myself, Buffalo is the team EVERYBODY should be afraid of!!!
  7. Damn right my friend!!! And the fact that we'll have at least SOME fans in the stands??? PLEASE, PLEASE forgive the TMI, but I'm harder than Chinese calculus right now...
  8. I couldn't have chosen a more fitting comparison if I tried! 👍👍👍
  9. I said this in a thread a few weeks ago, I believe in my heart that when Allen's career is complete, he will have shattered every single one of Kelly's records. I believe alot of it will be because of Allen's talents, but alot also just because of how the passing game has evolved over the years. This is a passing league now much more so than back when Kelly was QB... But yes, Kelly's records will ALL be broken....shoot, how many did Josh already break just this season alone?
  10. What a complete victory gentlemen. Total domination in all three phases of the game. Funny, I said to myself before the game that we would finally have a kickoff or punt return for a touchdown today, except I knew it would be Roberts. Great decision by McDermott to give protect Andre for next week. Heading into the playoffs, this team is absolutely LETHAL right now. I said it in the gameday thread and I'll say it again; THE BUFFALO BILLS ARE THE HOTTEST, MOST DANGEROUS TEAM IN THE NFL RIGHT NOW. There is not a team in this league that scares me or that I think we cannot beat. This is a completely different team than the one that faced the Chiefs last time. You talk about wanting to have momentum heading into the playoffs??? Is it even possible to have as much as we have? In all my years of being a Bills fan I have NEVER seen a team playing so well, peaking at the perfect time, as close to 100% healthwise as we are now.(Maybe 91 Bills close 2nd) This team is playing with supreme confidence, they've won 6 straight and WOULD be on a 10 game streak if not for a dumb luck play. I've watched the defense round into beautiful form, and I've watched an offense that looks as smooth as silk come out every week, and, hear me on this one fellas, shred every ELITE defense they've faced. Pittsburgh, San Fran, New England, Miami, all teams with top 10 defenses, particularly strong in areas of pass defense, takeaways, and sacks, got destroyed and exploited by Allen and company. I never thought I'd say this, but I'm actually GLAD we didn't get a 1st round bye!! With as much momentum we have, as well as we are playing, I want us out there next Saturday or Sunday, in Orchard Park, IN FRONT OF OUR FANS, fired up and ready to go.... One hell of a ride so far this year fellas. I'm not trying to put the cart before the horse, so all I'll say is.... I'm starting to get a feelin....
  11. Make no mistake about it, THE BUFFALO BILLS ARE THE HOTTEST, MOST DANGEROUS TEAM IN THE NFL right now. Steamrolling their way into the playoffs, there is not a single team in the league that scares me or that I do not think we can beat. This is a TOTALLY different team than the one played the Chiefs last time. Get your popcorn ready fellas...
  12. No need to throw it Cruise into the playoffs with Motor, Moss and Josh 😀👍
  13. OUR Field General!! 2020 AFC East Champions Fellas!! Dammit it feels good!!!
  14. Concur 100% with Sven, I've been privileged enough to see our best football from 88-93, so no tears for a division title. HOWEVER....Like so many of us have said, if we win the Super Bowl, I'm crying like a two year old after a crisp spanking.
  15. Holy crap that's the first time I looked at this week's matchups....that is VERY possible fellas!!! Like for real.. The Pats are riding high and everyone is back on their sacks, but the way they've been winning is simply not sustainable...Lord have mercy they smoked the Chargers and didn't Cam have less than a hundred yards passing?? As well as the Dolphins have been playing, I'm sorry I do not see them beating the Chiefs in Arrowhead...the Raiders got thumped by Atlanta a few weeks ago, and the Colts just beat the Titans...and the Browns have been playing some solid football too... Wow, I can totally see us clinching a playoff berth Sunday night...thank you for posting this!
  16. I think this is something that is severely underestimated. That is a tough stretch, and please believe they are going to be feeling it after halftime, if not all game...the scheduling Gods have been unkind to the Black and Gold, however I have zero ounce of sympathy for them. We had to deal with Tennessee and their frivolous-ity. I couldn't agree more with Chandler, this game doesn't strike one bit of fear in me. Even if they hadn't had the scheduling inconveniences I still picked us to win this game....fellas this team is rounding into form AT JUST THE RIGHT TIME...the time when the true contenders begin to flex their muscles, and impose their will on whoever lines up across from them, as you all saw Monday night...Allen and crew looked like they were playing on All-Madden mode and the 49ers looked like they were on novice. They KNEW what we were going to come out doing, yet they could do nothing. The vaunted, physical defense looked completely overmatched from our first offensive possession. This is a beautiful thing we're witnessing, and the crazy thing is, in my opinion, our best football is ahead of us... Josh and Co come out picking up where they left off Monday night.....Pittsburgh hangs around until halftime, but in the second half, fatigue finally gets the best of them and they're helpless as we pound the rock, control the clock, and send them back to the Steel City licking their wounds and staring at a 2 game losing streak. Buffalo 27, Pitt 16
  17. Have faith my friend 🙂 The Bills turn the tables today, and put the history of Monday Night flops behind them. We're healthier than we've been in a long time, we know what's at stake, and our defense is FINALLY rounding into its true(er) form. AJ Klein, who weeks ago looked like an absolute swing and miss by McBeane, has been our most valuable defensive player the past 3 weeks. The only injury that is really irritating to me is John Brown. We are a completely different offense with him in there. His speed neutralizes defenses, period. It prevents them from doubling Stefon, frees up Beasley to roam freely in the slot, and prevent the safetys from cheating up since they have to respect the deep ball. But other than that, we are damn close to 100%....and no way they show up tonight unprepared. 49ers may be getting healthy, but it doesn't matter. This is about us tonight.... Buffalo rolls.....38 - 17
  18. I want to be excited right now, but I just feel kind of deflated...I pray Josh's ankle is alright...dude is a warrior, and seeing the injury in slow motion, then seeing him down on the field for a few moments really took the wind out of my sails.... Hope he's okay. 🙁
  19. Simply maahvelous darling, simply maahvelous...I don't mind dating myself here, but this photo was on my bedroom wall, my senior year of high school....👍👍 WONDERFUL!!!! LOVE IT!!
  20. Positives to take away from this injury report: only one player from the secondary on the list, and hopefully "illness" for Norman is something that won't keep him from being available Sunday. Negative: Six of the nine players on the list are starters, and three of them are our top 3 DE's. Wait, sorry bout that, Murphy is better than Epenesa. I REALLY, REALLY hope Brown will be 100% and ready to go Sunday. We're a completely different offense with him in there, and I don't know if it's a Brown thing, or if it just comes with the territory, but ALL of his injuries are the variety that directly affect both his top end speed AND his quickness, making him virtually ineffective.... As for Knox, well, they say if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all, so..
  21. When I think of Bills Eagles games, the only memorable one that comes to mind for me is the game, back in 1990 to be exact, when we had the Eagles backed up to their own 1 yard line, Bruce was about to sack Cunningham, but he ducked under him, got away, threw a 50 yard prayer up to Barnett, who caught it, the DB mis-played the ball and fell down, and Barnett ran the rest of the way in for the TD. We still won the game, but it was a pretty damn impressive play.
  22. Never??? Heck I've been a Bills fan since the 80s and I can't remember a season when we had this many non-traditional/primetime games....and you know what? I'm lovin every minute of it. I hate to be a negative nancy on this one but I gotta say it...it figures we would get this kind of exposure during a year which: 1)we're JUST as entertaining offensively as we've ever been aside from 90-92, 2)we are a legitimate playoff team capable of making a deep playoff run, 3)we're probably going to win the division for the first time in 25 years, and...4)we're for all intents and purposes going to host a playoff game. All of this during a year we won't have any fans in the stands....☹☹☹😡 Sorry, just had to vent for a sec...but anyway, I'm loving it anyway....especially being that we don't get many Bills games down here in New Orleans...
  23. Agree 100%. Concussion history or not, the bottom line is Mitch Morse is by far our best option at center. I know Feliciano filled in admirably, and even Boettger as well at times, but to me its a no-brainer. You put your best 5 guys out there, and I MUCH prefer Mongo at G, where he can get nasty, and do what he does best, and that's road grade m****f***s out the way and clear big ol paths for Motor Moss and Josh (ooh that's catchy) to run through. By God how many games have we had our original starting 5 (Dawkins, Ford, Morse, Feliciano and Williams) out there to start a game? Once, twice? Coming down the home stretch we absolutely need continuity on our line as the run game is going to become more and more necessary for us to win these ball games....I say if McDermott really sits Morse, it's due to his health above all other things...JMHO.
