I'm almost positive in this case that 911 was not called. A 911 call explaining the situation would have immediately led to the 911 operator contacting the CSX dispatcher and they in turn would put out an emergency message to the train crew so they could immediately dump the air on the train and get it stopped.

Pizzarias were awesome. Lots of great discontinued dorito flavors I wish they'd bring back. Sonic sour cream, jalapeño 3Ds, pepper jack. Sun chips made some kind of peppercorn ranch for a while that were pretty addicting.

I think YOU need to go back and re-read some posts. I don't think anyone has said the PR guy is responsible for the teams woes. I'm pretty sure everyone supporting the move is just saying that the PR dept. has also failed at their job over the years and the head of that should be held accountable.

JW is arguing with himself. I haven't seen anyone in this thread suggest that the PR dept is responsible for the shortcomings of the organization as a whole. That list of examples supporting his "argument" is meaningless. I don't see why it's so hard to believe that the PR dept has also made some mistakes along the way. I think that's all we're saying. I do also agree with you that generally speaking negativity and the perception of dysfunction do in fact affect some part of the overall whole even if it's minuscule.

Where did I insinuate he had anything to do with Marv being hired? I'm talking about the clown show pressers that have been going on for years now. During the initial days of the Mularkey resignation / Marv GM hiring wasn't there a bunch of technological type mishaps delaying the start of the pressers? And seems like I remember them being generally disorganized, and kind of bizarre.

I don't have delusions that this affects anything related to the on field product, but I think it's a positive move. Hard to deny the team has come off as a second rate organization at times over the years during pressers. Even going back to the few days of Marv returning as GM weirdness. Wonder how the podium feels about this move

I might be done. I'll still keep my seasons and go to a couple games but for whatever reason this one is hurting me bad. Hopefully it wears off by the schedule release and this is an afterthought but !@#$ing a... it was a bad year of football capped by what's going to lead to a 6 month puke fest from the media. Is it really worth 5+ grand a year and a lot of time and frustration? I dunno, this just plain sucks
