From the Dahlin point of view, I'd say this deal is just about perfect. He was never going to take a long term deal based off of his early struggles. He's going to go out there and prove himself so that the long term deal has much larger numbers attached to it.

I understand that the cast members have some creative control, but couldn't they have just stopped him from doing the jokes? Norm's on the air and can say what he wants if he really wants to, but the graphics guy is certainly going to bow to Lorne. I just got an invitation in the mail yesterday to my 21 year reunion (they couldn't do one last year).
