  1. It's definitely the multi-part episodes. They've essentially been producing one movie a year over the last 5 or so years. They might as well just make it one full 2 hour block and eliminate the commercials.
  2. And that's exactly why I wish they'd just end it.
  3. I won't lie. I haven't been watching but when I saw the name Richards mentioned in here earlier, this is exactly who I thought of. Now that I'd watch.
  4. I wonder if he ever wound up selling his house. We had a thread about that, didn't we?
  5. I'm thinking the team knew the interview with the doctor was coming out, so they got ahead of it with that press conference last week. Eichel's team was pissed that they got scooped so threw threw together that statement.
  6. So what's the deal. People ridicule her for posting pictures and then she posts more? Let me try this out: Shame on you, Elizabeth Hurley!
  7. Reinhart currently has no contract. So there has to be a signing with Florida, more than likely just for one year.
  8. I also don't get why this one was the start of their next phase. The post-credit scene is the only thing that advances the storyline in any way. There really was no reason to put this movie out after Infinity War/Endgame.
  9. I used to caddy at Crag Burn back in high school. It was first come, first serve, whichever caddy showed up first was assigned to the first player who asked for one. One day, this other kid and I showed up at the same time. I let him sign up first. It wasn't a very busy day. After waiting a bit the other kid finally got someone... Steve Tasker and BIll Polian. I didn't get anyone that day.
  10. I was dumb enough to look at a mock expansion draft yesterday on NHL.com. It's the only one I've looked at. It had the Kraken taking Tokarski. I had to clean the coffee off my monitor.
  11. They don't need the multi-verse for that. They're going with alternate versions of the characters from within their own universe. They tried it a bit with Yelena, but it was far more subtle than the other recent MCU movies. Oh, and I saw some comments recently from Scarlet talking about how she regrets some of the unnecessary sexualization of the character when she was first introduced. Now after seeing the movie I can't help but roll my eyes at that. There had to be 5 or 6 blatant shots of her ass in the movie. They'd start filming at the ground, pan up her legs, then switch to a different camera once they passed the waist. Now I'm not complaining, but the comments definitely seem a bit hypocritical.
  12. I couldn’t help but laugh when Johansson had the Foligno nose
  13. I understand the recent expansion team reasoning, but Vegas finished tied for the Presidents’ Trophy this year. They should be included in the draft too. So they’re one of the top teams in the league and they also get to keep their full roster.
  14. Mayo based the same way that a hamburger is a beef based sandwich? Or was it just some sandwich smothered in mayo? I'm not even sure why someone would buy the first option... but then again, to me mayo is vile.
  15. I mean, that one is easy to answer. He fires his blaster the second that baby pod opens.
  16. The brief glimpse of Ray Liotta in there makes me wish they found a way to give Joe Pesci a cameo.
  17. Zach Bogosian Josh Gorges Andrej Meszaros Andre Benoit Tyson Strachan Cody Franson Carlo Colaiacovo Justin Falk Taylor Fedun Dmitri Kulikov That's the reason why Tim Murray failed. These are the defensemen he added who got significant playing time over those three years. Bogosian and Kulikov unfortunately didn't work out and the rest are a bunch of has beens and never weres. Murray only cared about the forwards and then tried to patch up his blue line in the clearance aisle.
  18. Buzzkill? I love this whole Bonilla thing. It's the ultimate head scratcher. I feel like they add more to the story each year to make that mets front office look even more stupid. The amount of time left on his deal dwarfing all those other contracts just goes to show how special this one is.
  19. That list of four has a combined 17 years remaining. That stacks up pretty nicely against Bonilla's 14.
  20. I saw the two threads back to back and for a second there I thought Billy Fuccillo was Jambi. Anyway, I couldn't place the face so I had to click on the link to get the Seinfeld role. I didn't realize those two guys even had names. I'm going to have the whole "are you talking to me" thing stuck in my head all day.
  21. So pretty much everything about this half of the season was ridiculous. The over the top coincidences of John Dorie senior and Teddy, nukes... The writers went way too far overboard trying to make things happen in this show. I mean, it was entertaining enough, but so many of these things don't fit very well into the universe they've built over the years. Some of these splinter groups better be dead whenever the show comes back with a time skip. I have no idea how things work with fallout, but June and Dorie are basically just in the ground below vaporized Dakota. They're in that bunker for a very long time. And then there's Dwight and Sherry in their basement/shelter that doesn't even have a door. And highrise Strand.
  22. It pretty much is a lose episodic show and then they tie it all together down the home stretch. I forget exactly when that starts, but I want to say the last two episodes. The second season is structured very similarly.
  23. Shows like this really make me hate the weekly release strategy that Disney uses. That first episode was entertaining, but in the big picture, absolutely nothing happened. The show could go off in any direction from here.
