  1. Ok, here's a condensed game video. First good footage I could find. While certainly not complete, you'll see that almost run on this tape in our first 3 drives went away from Parsons. Leaving him largely unblocked, we sent bodies left at those small LBs. And then when we do run right, we send bodies towards Parsons. I'm sure this link will give me that dumb "Video unavailable" message, but check it out. It's a fun game anyways. (And a great Cook highlight film) I'm not going to argue he's great or even good against the run. Dont get me wrong. My point was that the LBs were the bigger weakness, and where we game planned towards them because they were bad, when we game plan towards Parsons it's because he's a good player.
  2. You're proving the wrong point. The issue with that Dallas D in 2023 wasnt Parsons. It was their 2 LBs who were even smaller and lighter than Bernard and Dorian Williams. With those small LBs, the Bills only had to gameplan around Parsons. So we either ran right at him with an extra blocker (and sometimes 2 extra blockers). Or ran completely away from him and could leave him unblocked since we were going so far away from him. Parsons was the only player that actually mattered that game. Bro, that's your beef? His 5 minutes on a training table during a horrible preseason game, while the owner ***** him around on his contract?
  3. It's all crap because this will never, NEVER happen. So save all your "mortgaging the future" logic because this doesnt get any farther than the fantasy. And in that case, I'd love to have him. You're taking it way too seriously. I'll leave the character judgement to you, even though outside of his in-season podcast, he's never been a problem. The real issue and the real clown in this situation is Jerry.
  4. Any more so than Epenesa? Who would you rather have in the rotation?
  5. I call bull#### At the same time, the Commissioner once sat down with Michael Vick and told him to NOT sign with Buffalo and make a deal with the Eagles instead so... who knows.
  6. Dang, how does a big tour bus rollover like that? We had something similar in Atlanta but it's because the bus went up an exit ramp and then jumped the bridge at the top, falling back onto the thruway below.
  7. Ah, thank you, good info. Doesnt change the second part tho. Teams only need to report if guys are missing practice time. If they had to report every injury that players were playing through, every injury report from every team would be 10 pages long.
  8. HIPAA says different. I believe all that is required is if guys are missing practice.
  9. I like your point, but it also shines a light on the problem of putting it in OP and leaving it open-air. By doing those 2 things, they've basically relegated it to Pegula/Bills-use only. Had they put it downtown, and made it a dome, there is a whole list of events it could have hosted to generate even more revenue. Heck, the state is about to spend $150M-$200M on a new stadium for UB. Could have just had the Bulls play in the new dome downtown and saved that money, which is practically 25% of the stadium budget. Not to mention things like xgames, flag football tournaments, conventions, etc, etc. Even with the extra money it would have cost to put a dome downtown, it could have been recouped pretty quickly.
  10. Yep yep. And I wont nitpick, but I said 2012 because I was inspired to move back to the area in 2014 based on the movements and momentum that were already underway. But no doubt it definitely peaked in that 2014-19 time frame.
  11. Also, good for Buffalo residents. Let's face it, folks. The Bills are the only thing that area really has. There was a bit of a "Buffalo Resurgence" happening from like 2012... but then COVID absolutely killed all the momentum and progress and it's pretty much back where it was in the 90s/00s. Gotta keep the Bills at any cost. And when you break down the math, it turned out to be something like $10 per resident per year for 5 years. And I think that was before the Seneca Casino money was factored in. Worth it.
  12. Ehh, there's a LOT here I disagree with and could present a pretty good counter argument to, but that discussion is probably better suited for another afternoon on the New Realm patio
  13. Glad I could help
  14. He's already paying more than the state will, and he has to save that cash for signing all those high-guaranteed contracts that keep us a top 3 team. There's a lot about Billionaires I'm against on principal, but the stadium is just the cost of a small town trying to keep a major league team. And better to spread that cost over the entire state, and have NYC/Albany money pay for Buffalo. If anyone had to self-fund it then it's much smarter for them to do so in a bigger market where they can have a better ROI.
  15. I keep Wranglers separate from new Jeep SUVs in my mind. Wranglers have historically run well and hold their value. I also had a 2001 Cherokee Sport (XJ) that was great. That was the last year they made them and then became a Daimler brand and went straight downhill. All other Jeep SUVs in the last 20ish years are garbage and have major, major problems. All the new Liberties, Grand Cherokees, Compass, Renegade... garbage. Known issues with their transmissions.
