can we please ban this talk show diarrhea its driving me nuts. it was bad enough when it was being plastered all over the cable news channels every other sentence, now it has infiltrated into everything else - commercials, sports celeb interviews, movies. at the end of the day, its virtually non-stop now at the end of the day, is it really necessary? at the end of the day?

I dont understand any of this cut Fitz talk
Meathead replied to NYCBoozers's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
i am pretty confident that pettine is going to have this defense playing a lot better than they have been the last two seasons. that would make fitz and any qb for that matter look a lot better. whether that happens quick enough to give fitz another legimate shot at keeping his job long term remains to be seen, but i for one sincerely hope we get to see his quick read and release ability in the wco hackett is installing before we let him go the bills actually lose very little by giving him that opportunity. fans with the nth (need to hate) will never be patient enough to support that. they want their pound of flesh and now that kelsay is gone they will heap all that hate on their next target -
Bills, Fitzpatrick inch toward $3 million decision
Meathead replied to papazoid's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
depends on how you get those warning points note that mine have never come from berating any individual nor genuinely disrespecting any cultural group. mine are from a philosophical issue of deep importance and a key difference of opinion with those issuing the points. i have earned every one of my points and am proud to have them attached to my account bc im standing up for something vitally relevant in this case, the issuers are wrong. well intentioned, but wrong nonetheless. i look forward to the day that my campaign results in a banning, when i will serve my time and eventually return exhibiting the exact same behavior. eventually the message will sink in and the points will stop. until then, the struggle continues -

a very wise and extremely handsome in a fleshy sort of way man says this is exactly whats going to happen, except that he guarantees fitz will be the game one starter. dwi -
ive been telling you this for months so it will only be a surprise to those who havent listened (most of you) but fitz is gonna stay and start the season. dwi

Two quarterback systems....in the NFL's future?
Meathead replied to BADOLBILZ's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
this has been talked about for decades. i used to strongly believe that it could work if some team would just commit to it, but ive now realized thats just plain wrong the biggest reason is simply prep time, as one previous poster mentioned. theres only so many practice reps to get ready during the week and if you try to prepare two guys equally you end up with nobody fully prepared. in the long run that will be the key breaking point the other reason is simply emotion - quarterbacks are rightfully looked at as the center of the team. no major sport is as reliant on one guy as pro football is the qb. if you dont have one guy as the top guy then you create turmoil that eventually gets out of control. it can work in the short term when something is a novelty (wildcat, slash, etc) but as soon as defenses catch up then it turns into a liability that undermines the entire team if you stick with it, which is why those situations always end up with one guy regardless -

1. fitz will restructure, stay with the team, and start the season c. the bills will draft a qb at 8 and insert him in the starting lineup sometime during the season VII. deal wid it -
lee smith is the designated blocking te and is a good one dickerson is the hback and appears to have the potential to be a good one of those chandler is an average or slightly better pass catching te, which is the best weve had since jay remersma, tho his recent injury leaves his future in doubt until he shows that he has fully recovered so yeah they need to address the backup receiving TE to be ready for the start of the season, as well as the replacement fb. but its not as bad as we are making it seem in this thread

Ryan Nassib - QB - Syracuse

worst. poll. ever. -
frankly im still mad at mcnumbnuts for holding the ball like a loaf of bread and not not going down like he was hit by buckshot when the first cheater got within five yards of him, but ... he really was quite good in coverage last season when he played cb, he was suddenly like a different player. im a little nervous that he might revert if given the job again full time, but as long as he can keep playing like he did last season im thrilled to have back that play im still mad at him about could be the dumbest thing ive ever seen on a bills team (leon lett holds the honor for the dumbest play in nfl history trying to recover a kick) but im willing to forget that if he lives up to or exceeds this contract. ok i wont forget but i will forgive. ok i might not forgive but i wont bring it up. ok i might bring it up but ill not whoop his ass if i ever meet him

Ranking Bills Last 3 Starting QBs
Meathead replied to truth on hold's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
agree on losman. i think that was just about the worst way you could possibly handle a young qb. idk if it ever would have ever all come together for him, but i do know he had virutally no chance to succeed the way he came into the league and how awful everything was around him
