  1. nfl referees announce in lieu of the tuck rule they are reinstating an option to use the 'just give it to them' rule when it would benefit the patriots
  2. outside of the super mario courtship the bills have done exactly the same thing for the last three seasons. and outside of last season the fans have done exactly the same thing - freak out prematurely this team has clearly establshed itself as a late free agency mover. theyve even explained it point blank, that early free agency is usually a poor value compared to late free agency. their strategy has borne fruit every season as well, with good players routinely added to a roster that was as bare as its ever been here when they started so even though there is plenty of reason to know exactly what is going on, plenty of rationale that there indeed will be free agents added to the roster, and plenty of reasons to be confident they will find some good players to fill existing holes, it still looks like a good idea to freak out and bemaon the fact that nobody wants to come here and we are doomed. and russ is cheap
  3. One of the world's most popular super-heroes will be slinging over to Rochester, N.Y. It was officially announced Thursday that scenes from the upcoming sequel to "The Amazing Spider-Man" will be shot in the Flour City. "[The filmmakers] saw the look they wanted and that is why they are coming here," Norah Brown from Rochester/Finger Lakes Film and Video office said at a press conference announcing the shoot. Filming in Rochester is expected to last 10-15 days, with a focus on chase scenes during the shoot. http://www.cbsnews.c...-rochester-n.y/
  4. nick tahous is on the 'if youre blind drunk and want to risk getting a disease' tour
  5. most impressive street performer ive ever seen was another living statue but his art was to really reeally look like a statue. i was in paris for a couple of days and there was a nice brick public courtyard out my window. we got up early to go do something and at about eight i looked out the window and noticed a statue in the courtyard that wasnt there before. the guy had made everything to look like a real statue, he had a cement looking foundation, a fancy heavy looking chain barrier that looked weathered, and his makeup was just perfectly that light grey/green. for quite a while i thought maybe it really was a new statue, i went right up to him and stared and stared and could only baarely see any movement. it was truly incredible. we got back about five-thirty that evening and damn it if he wasnt in the same exact pose! im sure he had to have taken breaks but still that was super impressive. hardly anybody noticed him either, im sure most thought it was just a statue. now thats freakin commitment btw - i did take a pic but you cant really do his performance any justice like that. i mean after all in a pic it just looks like another of the bajillion statues in that city
  6. thank goodness. now jp losman can legitimize his championship record
  7. how wonderfully expansive of you im sorry billy your mom and dad dont have jobs that can keep you fed and healthy and we need to teach people like that a lesson so youre just going to have to go without food and medical care sometimes. good luck dick
  8. you are wise beyond your post count my friend
  9. thats not really accurate they would have kept fitz if he restructured AND he agreed to be a backup. fitz wanted to have a shot at a starting job and would have restructured if they had gave him that, he said so himself. but when the bills told him they werent going to let him compete for the job he said no thanks ill take my chances thats why theres absolutely no chance the bills are going to bring in another veteran. they are going all in on a rookie qb this season and will only play tjax if the rook cant cut it out of the chute. im not sure i agree with that plan but they didnt ask me
  10. unfortunately marcia makes anybody look way better than they really are even more unfortunately, we are going to have to endure the wailing and gnashing of teeth on this board bemoaning how we could let such a playmaker as jones go when said marcia works his said magic on said jones
  11. the only positions im worried about are LB and QB clearly the hole at QB is glaring right now. im still mystified why the bills decided they didnt even want fitz to compete for the job. based on what he said in his interview with murph i think he would have taken a cut in pay if they had just let him compete with tjax and a rook. going out and getting another vet now doesnt make sense since they already have their backup in tjax and if they wanted somebody to start until the rook is ready they coulda had fitz do that so they certainly arent going to spend another five mil on somebody else. that all leads me to believe they are gonna draft a qb at eight and just let him play. in fact they probably are gonna take two, unless they think corp could be qb2/3 which i doubt even with the addition of lawson they are still short at least one starting LB and very thin behind that. maybe sheppard and bradham are ready to play well in a 3-4 but they didnt show much last season to make me confident in that. they are gonna have to bring in at least one more free agent for depth there at a minimum. even if they draft a rookie high they still will need one more on top of all that lots of time left to add players so they can get it done. gotta expect qb play is going to be very spotty no matter what. that coupled with the learning curve of first time hc and both coordinators and its an uphill climb for them to win more than six games. there is enough talent that if everything went right they could challenge for a wildcard, but rarely does everything go THAT right
  12. bryce paup would be awesome off the edge
  13. amanda bynes behind the wheel thats what scares me
  14. sounds like an asian joke to me. points coming
  15. id rather have freddie largeintestine
  16. this answer is very clear by now. whomever asks it shows they simply dont care about the issues inherant in it - you (those who support that kind of governance) want money to flow to the top and stay there. weve tried that approach, its put us where we are today, with the biggest income gap in the last century. the rich getting richer and everybody else steadily losing ground. thats what you want, in fact, thats what you worship, but its not what i want and certainly not what i worship. in fact i think its disgusting and immoral. its just about the only reason im glad democrats are going to control the white house for sixteen straight years. but without balance in gubmint thats going to come at a heavy price. but if thats what it takes to get the crazy and immoral out of the republican party so be it lmao. you will never be convinced. thats why i dont usually bother to answer, its a waste of time. you want what you want, regardless of what it does to the country or your neighbor. theres nothing i can say that will change your mind and ive long since tired of shoveling sh against that tide
  17. once again just to refresh the memory of ppl with any ability to reason, i am an independant and voted for republicans the last two presidential elections
  18. paul ryan is going to continue to marginalize the republican party by promoting budget policies that go directly against what the country needs, and what the majority of the country has already voted for if hillary runs in three years we are going to need at least one of the houses controlled by republicans to avoid a runaway democratic dominated agenda. but the republicans, already a collection of cartoon character personalities at the top, are going backwards and are in serious danger of losing any kind of majority anywhere in national politics. its completely indefensible antics like this ryan budget that is going to cement total democrat control. i like hillary a lot but any party with total control is going to screw things up worse than a george bush jr administration. well ok maybe not that badly but still very bad
  19. belicheats coacing record without brady: 51-65 so basically when brady isnt playing bill forgets how to be a genius this 'genius amnesia' also spreads to his genius assistants: Romeo Crennel – 24-40 at Cleveland and fired Charlie Weis – went to Notre Dame and fired Eric Mangini – 23-25 at NY Jets and fired. Moved to Cleveland and fired AND despised by players Josh McDaniels – Hired by Denver Broncos and fired after 2 mediocre seasons oh yeah no cheating bill totally deserves to be a hof coach
  20. yes and that was also the season veteran players were taking LESS in an attempt to win an easy sb. that was the most stacked team they ever had by far fortunately it was also the very next season where career .500 pre-marcia belicheat started really pissing off his veteran players and they started leaving, thus putting balance and fairness back into the football universe
